15.01.2022 Australia Day performance done and dusted! These students are absolutely amazing, I am overflowing with pride! They only had 5 rehearsals within 1 week to get this together and they rose to the occasion. Thank you to Tina Thornton for capturing these moments on stage. And thank you to the JJ Richards stage program, Billy and team for giving us the opportunity to practice such important performance skills. Your support is an unforgettable investment in the journey of these young musicians.

08.01.2022 This is the talented Alisa. (Tina) she is a little light that comes into my studio every Saturday and every now and then she steps up to another level that just amazes me!

08.01.2022 Very honoured to be back singing for Pie Alley and their patrons last night. I didn’t realise how much I missed it! So happy to get requests for more jazz...... don’t mind if I do

06.01.2022 Being a great musician has so much more to do than just playing the right notes or even just being a great player!!

06.01.2022 My latest challenge.......ZOOM music lessons! It requires much more focus and energy than I expected, but it’s so lovely to be able to keep everyone going! Keep up the good work guys!

04.01.2022 So excited! Let’s gear up guys!

04.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone! We sure have had an amazing close to the year! I am so proud of my students! Well done guys, your hard work has paid off and I cannot wait to see where we take your musical journey next year! I would love to give a massive shout out of appreciation to Amanda and Gary at Pie Alley Blues for your amazing support throughout this year. Your kindness and generosity this year has taken me so much closer to my dreams for my business and my students have gai...ned such valuable experience within your exciting and supportive environment. Thank you to Rhonda Janes and Bill Ludwick for including us in Yeppoon Carols by the Beach. It was such a thrill for the girls to perform on the main stage alongside such amazing singers. And I cannot forget to show my appreciation to Narelle Schirmer from Facets. Thank you for involving us in your shows. It was so wonderful for the my students to be able to do the filming at town hall, and the waterline carols was a perfect way to end our musical year with a bang! Last but most certainly not least, my family. Thank you for understanding and supporting my need to pursue this dream of mine. Mum thank you for caring for the girls when Shaun is away so I can work and for being the last one to leave at any of my shows. My girls for still loving me even though I’m not home to put you to bed and for sitting through rehearsals or quietly (kinda) through a lesson or two. And to you my amazing husband, who never questions my passion, goes with the flow of my adventures, who jumps in the car to grab that thing I forgot on mostly a weekly basis. See you in the new year everyone!!! https://youtu.be/IgnmSF9FKi4

04.01.2022 Shaun checked with the neighbours and I’ve been given the go ahead to sing amazing grace at the end of the driveway about 5.50/5.55am to lead into the ode and t...he last post. In years gone by my time back in Dysart granted me the opportunity to sing at the dawn service, the most haunting experience hearing your voice carry across the silence of a town before dawn I’m going to go live on Facebook , so tune in if you can See more

03.01.2022 Just a few photos from our Kylie of an amazing afternoon! I’m sitting back now amazed at how awesome my students are! To sing for the first time with a band, getting out there debuting their guitar skills and taking to the stage with such confidence- even if inside it doesn’t feel like that. I just love what I do, I think my students are wonderful and I was so glad I could help give them these opportunities. It so important to me that I get to play a role in the development of our future musicians big thank you Pie Alley Blues for hosting us and sharing our vision and a huge shout out to the band who gave their time, Scott, Darryl and Ben!

03.01.2022 This is a very imperfect interpretation of Katherine Jenkin’s version of ‘Bring Me To Life’. As a singing teacher it’s really scary to post your struggles but I... decided that it’s important too show your imperfections and MORE importantly that you keep going as if nothing is wrong! It still makes me cringe though! See more

03.01.2022 Truth!! ;-) (y) <3

03.01.2022 Many beautiful things will grow in this space! This is where the musicians of today and tomorrow get to explore. Today one of my students asked who is my favourite....how can you choose just one when each of them offers a unique experience every time they walk through the door?! My days....my HOURS are never the same. A musician works with their body and each day a body feels different, it works differently. I love the diversity my job offers me, and I love working with the amazing people that join me every week. It’s exciting to show them how to work with what they are experiencing in that moment and in each lesson to discover a deeper part of themselves. We musicians are amazing beings designed to do amazing things!

03.01.2022 This would be a fantastic opportunity for those with a passion for acting to take part in one of DDD’s amazing productions.
