25.01.2022 Hi peeps. When you have done a workout on your back, or if you are feeling tight in this area, here are some pics of the rolling I used post workout and the stretches I used to help relieve the tension in my back and biceps. The stretches should be taken slowly and not rushed. If you havent done stretches or rolling before, consult your physio or doctor first before trying them. Enjoy . Thank you for taking the time to look at these. Hope you find them useful.

24.01.2022 Todays workout. This got the heart rate up using very little equipment. Resistance bands can be used if you dont have any equipment, or even household items. @trainingbytony getting it done!!

24.01.2022 More than just a washing basket. Feet elevated tricep dips for your home workout . Car windows make handy mirrors. Very little equipment for a great arms workout

23.01.2022 We are fully booked once again this week. Please look ahead for available appointments. Thank you all for your amazing support. Www.angieractive.com.au

23.01.2022 Todays workout was chest, triceps and shoulders. All fairly small muscles. Post stretch, heres some examples of rolling for these areas. I used a small firm rubber ball for the chest. Just rolling it around with some pressure applied. Apply what feels comfortable. I rested against the roller for the deltoids on the shoulders. The tricep I used a little body weight pressure and rolled slowly back and forth. I also used the roller against the garage wall and did a gentle roll... of the deltoids. These areas are very sensitive for most people. So only apply enough pressure for what feels comfortable. I also did a little trigger point work with the firm rubber ball on areas of soreness from previous workouts. I will be doing some videos of trigger point work you can do at home to help relieve soreness and stiffness in the muscles this weekend. Stay tuned See more

22.01.2022 Here’s my first self help trigger point video. Take 5 . I’m not used to doing this sort of thing so I apologise if it’s not great lol. Remember I have posted a few photos of rolling for the upper arm recently, so please do that before trigger point work. Thank you for watching.

Teaming up with the amazing Joanne Black who is a PT and Life Coach, we will be working together to do our best to help you all. ... Please stay tuned and bear with us until we can get organised. 20.01.2022 Make rolling part of your daily routine. Rolling helps to relieve tight muscles by reducing trigger points and lactic acid. Compliments your maintenance massage and helps to keep your body happy.

20.01.2022 It was Glutes and core for me today. I had already done a HIIT session with Jo Black Personal Trainer and Life Coach . A good roll of glutes and hamstrings post stretch for this workout. The reason I do hamstrings as well is because they get used a lot in a glute workout. I also used the spiky ball after. It hurts but its worth the pain for instant relief of tightness and soreness. Stay tuned for some home workouts from Jo followed with some stretches from me. Together we can stay fit, healthy and motivated during the tough times. Stay safe peeps

20.01.2022 Time to show my clients this little bundle of who entered our world this week. I should have been in the UK now to meet her. Meet my little granddaughter Daisy

19.01.2022 Happpy Easter everyone!! Here’s my second video on a bit of rolling and a simple trigger point release for the calf and shins. Hope you enjoy it and give it a try. I’d love to get some feed back, so comment below. Thank you .

19.01.2022 Shoulder workout today. Heres some stretches you can do after to relieve the tension as shoulder muscles are quite small and do tire quickly. Shoulder rotations are also good to do before and after a shoulder workout. Did a little video clip so will post that as well

18.01.2022 I had glutes day today. Heres a few good stretches you can do at home. Stretching your arms out like in the first two phots, helps to also stretch the spinal muscles and the Lats. Only stretch so you can just feel it. You dont want to over stretch and hurt yourself. Once the stretch wears off, you can take it a little further so you can feel it again. Hold for about 30 seconds each stretch and repeat on the opposite side.

17.01.2022 Apologies for the lateness of this video. I did it on Friday, but havent had the chance to post it until now. Here I show you an easy way to reach trigger points from mid to upper back. Please be mindful of your spine, and only use enough pressure to relieve the point. You can then use a roller afterwards like I have shown in previous posts. You can scroll back and remind yourself. Happy trigger pointing.

17.01.2022 After a chest workout, sometimes its hard to know how to stretch the area. Here are a couple of examples and one for the forearms. There are a few others but will post those another day.

17.01.2022 Practicing what I preach. Rolling reduces muscle tension and trigger points in the muscles. Even 10 minutes on a daily basis will help keep those aches and pains away. We would all love a massage therapist digging their elbows in our glutes to relieve soreness daily, but in reality, its not going to happen. A regular remedial massage along with daily rolling, will help keep our bodies in good working order. So, self care is what we need to do as part of our daily routine. Rollers these days are pretty affordable, around $8-$10, and do a great job. Easy to use and hurt like hell, but truly worth every cent. Go on, treat yourselves .

15.01.2022 Ok, now I wouldnt normally post something like this on my business page, but come on people!! We all need to eat!! I dont understand the selfishness of people who think that they are the only ones that need food. WE ALL need it, only take what you need!! This is affecting my family and many others in the local area. One day I will be knocking on your door asking you to feed my family, as you plainly will have more than enough to go round Thank you!!

07.01.2022 Back and biceps today. Improvising with what equipment I have and still got a great work out. After stretching, I did a bit of rolling on the upper back to help release the tension in the Lats. In the back rolling photo, I moved slowly down to mid back and back up towards traps stopping at tender points and resting on them for about 30 seconds. I also had my hands behind my head, and also crossed them over chest area to give a broader roll. Rolling the Terres muscles side lying, I just rested on the roller using the flatter section rather than the bobbly bits. This area is pretty tender for most people. You can also lean back a little towards the camera to release the trigger point on the Infraspinatus muscle which covers the shoulder blade. You wont want to roll that, just rest on to it. Happy rolling peeps
