23.01.2022 #BREAKING TARGET TO CLOSE KALGOORLIE STORE The company which owns Target has announced its Kalgoorlie store will close in mid September. The Kalgoorlie Kmart st...ore will relocate into the existing Target property and is due to open in October. A Kmart Group spokesman said it thanked the Kalgoorlie team and staff would be considered for future jobs at the Kmart store. "In the meantime our focus is on supporting them through this time as we work through finding suitable redeployment within other Wesfarmers businesses as well as with other employers in town," they said. It comes two months after Target announced the closure or rebranding of more than 160 sites across the country. It was announced at the time the Esperance Target store will rebrand as a Kmart next year.
