The steamed lotus roots honey cake was described as In Autumn , wind was crispy and moon was clear. lotus roots were harvested and stored their full energy in starch. At the same time , the city was immersed in the fragrance of osmanthus flowers. People picked up the flower and enjoyed its fragrance. They also cooked steamed lotus roots cake by using sugared osman...thus petals. The cake was served at Family Jia’s banquet as an seasonal sweet delicate. Unfortunately, I run out of osmanthus flowers , so I replaced it with my honeyed rose petals. I collected those petals from my garden in summer and turned it into honeyed jam. I made the ones from my hometown style( Guizhou) which is just rice without any fillings.
