25.01.2022 Come on Sarah Henderson and Libby Coker support Anglesea's Sports and Community Hub - It's time! The Anglesea Bowling Club’s Redevelopment into a new Sports, Tourism and Community Hub will directly contribute towards the region’s economic growth through employment, construction, tourism and health and recreation outcomes. The externally evaluated economic projections and feasibility study into the redevelopment demonstrate operational yearly profits of $220,000 - $263,584 for... the first 5 years and grow to a million dollars per year Hub by 2020. Construction jobs would equate to 60 contractors and sub-contractors building the new Hub over a period of 10-12 months and employ up to12 employees once fully operational. With the new Hubs location on the Great Ocean Road and its 7 million annual travellers, 6,000 vehicles per day, this project along with others directly contributes 1.8 billion towards the National economy each year. The Anglesea community and club members are very excited about the redevelopment and the future opportunities for growth, jobs and improved health outcomes for all Victorians and our Nation.

12.01.2022 Morning All - I hope that this communication finds you all fit and well. It's been a long journey and hopefully this year the Anglesea Bowling Club can achieve ...its long term goal of building a new Sports and Community Hub in Anglesea. The Club and the Surf Coast Shire is committing $500,000 towards the 1.75M redevelopment and during the last Victorian election MP Terry Mulder committed an additional $500,000 towards the project. Sarah Henderson MP for the Coalition is making an announcement in support of the Anglesea Sports and Community Hub tomorrow at the Anglesea Bowling Club at 11am. 08.01.2022 Final Words- We would like to thank our local MP Sarah Henderson for committing $500,000 towards the Anglesea Bowling Club Upgrade and this is additional funding to that of the club’s and the Surf Coast Shires commitments of $500,000 towards the Anglesea Sports and Community Hub. It has been a long process and we trust that the community focus of the redevelopment remains and that the hard work of previous working groups, committees, members and Shire officers is celebrated and acknowledged.
