14.01.2022 We’re asking the public to keep their distance from a large leopard seal on a beach at Anglesea. The Conservation Regulator has received reports of people and ...dogs approaching the seal. Please remember these rules: People should not approach within 30 metres of a seal on land Dogs are not permitted within 50 metres of a seal Never attempt to feed a seal Seals are wild animals, and keeping the right distance from seals reduces the chance of you or your dog being attacked. DELWP and Parks Victoria personnel have been on site, putting up warning signage around the seal.
