25.01.2022 A wonderful celebration of the faithful last night in Sri Lanka. The 175 year old Anglican Church of Ceylon celebrated the Episcopal Ordination and Installation of their 16th Bishop of Colombo, Rev. Dushantha (Dushy) Lakshman Rodrigo. The service included wonderful Sri Lankan colour and sound with much singing and rejoicing. The Laying on of Hands included a Zoom transmission with Bishops from England, Africa and the Middle East. The scourge of COVID-19 has impacted Sri La...nka and various protection measures were evident during the service. Attached are some photos from the service and the full service conducted in both Sinhala and English can be found at this link. https://youtu.be/AyDoJxqONMs

19.01.2022 Morning all! On track for an 1130 livestream Holy Communion Service this morning however, my apologies if I'll be a few minutes late getting out of an appointment in Woodend. See you soon!

18.01.2022 Our return to a distanced, masked, hand-sanitised and unsung Holy Communion in the church today! Wonderful to be back and sharing the church with a pair of Crimson Rosellas who have taken up residence in the intervening months and were somewhat put out with our appearance. Their chorusing making up for our lack thereof. Blessings to all.

01.01.2022 Good Morning! I hope everyone is safe after the high winds last night, we lost a few trees but all is fine. I hope you may join me this evening at 6.00pm for a short Evening Prayer service which will be streamed live! Enjoy the beautiful day!

01.01.2022 Some history of the church in Sri Lanka, then Ceylon, at Nuwara Eliya up in the high country where many of the tea plantations are and where lots of vegetables and European flowers are grown with a temperate, cooler climate.
