19.01.2022 Commemorating the Martyrs of New Guinea. During World War II, twelve Anglicans working for God’s Church in PNG lost their lives. These are the Martyrs of New Gu...inea and we remember these brave and courageous people by celebrating Martyrs’ Day, on this day, September 2nd. We remember them and all who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the Gospel and give thanks for their dedication to God. Almighty God, for seventy eight years the Church has been encouraged by the Martyrs of New Guinea who followed your Son in laying down their lives for the sake of your kingdom. Inspired by their story, like them, may we leave all other cares aside to make it known that you rule with love over the whole world. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and for ever. Amen.

07.01.2022 This week our Creation theme is; "there is enough for need, but not for greed". One side of the display in front of the altar at St Mark's is things we 'need', the other side is things we 'greed'. How do you tell which is which? Do I really need this...?

06.01.2022 Robyn resetting the Season of Creation display at St Mark's. This week's theme is 'The gift of water'.

05.01.2022 This weekend we start Season of Creation, "Jubilee for the Earth" Here is Robyn's explanation:- Our World...the Globe...sitting on top of a mountain within the snow. A stream starts from the Mountain moves through the display to the opposite side and into a dark blue pool. The light green area...hills and valleys...across to the dry lands.... The flowers showing the beauty of our world. Red and silver hearts...Love your neighbour as yourself. See more

03.01.2022 A delightful Sunday double at St Mark's Daisy Hill. These #Sundayselfies are from their 9.30am and 7.30am service. St Mark's was the church I visited on March 22nd last year, the Sunday before lockdown. It was very good to be back with them again.
