Try not to take everything your mind tells you seriously - if it's helpful, use it, if not, let it go!

08.01.2022 Mindfulness of Domestic Chores.... Pick something mundane, like ironing, that you have to do to make life work - and do it mindfully: notice the colour and shape of the clothes, the pattern made by the creases, the hiss of the steam, the creak of the ironing board, the movement of your hand and arm. If boredom or frustration arise, simply acknowledge it and bring your attention back to the task at hand. When thoughts arise, acknowledge them, let them be, and bring your attention back to your ironing. Again and again, your attention will wander, when you realise this has happened, acknowledge it, notice what distracted you, and bring your attention back.
