24.01.2022 As part of the Three Chain Road construction, this overpass gives our haul trucks their own road. Using a BEBO arch construction, 45,000 cubic meters were excavated for the pavement. The team installed 115 corrugated steel pipes underneath 54 concrete arch units each weighing 22 tonnes.

15.01.2022 Today we had the pleasure of joining staff and residents at the Theodore Council On The Ageing and Kristy Hateley from Evolution’s Cracow mine, to celebrate teamwork during the COVID-19 pandemic. Both Anglo American and Evolution donated tablets to TCOTA to assist with maintaining social cohesion and Telehealth services during this unprecedented time.

15.01.2022 UPDATE: TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE Moura-Theodore Road Please be advised that the temporary road closure of Moura Theodore Road, which came into effect on 24 October, has been extended to Sunday 1 November, due to recent inclement weather. ... During this time, the road will close between the Hindles Rd intersection and the Dawson South workshop entrance, if lightning is within 10km of the area. Please use an alternate route via the Leichardt Highway during these times. The closures are being undertaken with Council approval, traffic controls and electronic signage in place at both the Moura and Theodore ends of the road. Emergency services will be notified in the event of a closure.

Since... commencing operations in October 2014, Heart of Australia has provided life-saving health services to regional Queenslanders aboard its customised specialist medical clinics-on-wheels. Heart of Australia Founder and cardiologist, Dr Rolf Gomes, said expansion to these towns had been made possible with this year's new $1 million partnership with Anglo American. Every time we expand our services to a new location, we have the potential to change and save lives for the community who live there. People who have often gone without specialist services for years, or who have needed to travel hundreds of kilometres at significant expense to access them," Dr Gomes said. 08.01.2022 In remembrance. On this day, in 1994, 11 coal mine workers lost their lives in an explosion at the Moura No 2 underground coal mine. We remember those men, their families and the broader Moura community.
