11.01.2022 We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work, play and live in the Isaac region. We also offer our respects to their elders, past, present... and emerging. We also recognise those whose ongoing efforts to protect and promote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures will leave a lasting legacy for future elders and leaders. This week we celebrate NAIDOC week, which is an annual celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and it’s a chance to acknowledge history, culture and achievements. This year we acknowledge the theme Always Was, Always Will Be. This recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. #NAIDOC2020

11.01.2022 We’re proud to partner with 4RFM Moranbah Community Radio 96.9 As a recent recipient of one of our Community Grants, the station has been able to update some of their broadcast equipment to the latest industry standard. This means presenters can now produce and broadcast shows from home (which is useful during COVID-19) and volunteers get training on equipment that is industry standard. The station is dedicated to increasing community connectedness and this has never been more important. Applications for our next round of Community Funding Grants are open until Monday 26 October.
