24.01.2022 Wow Christmas is rolled around again What a great time to look at the generosity we've received during the year some other wishes we have for the future Overall this year we've moved twice as many dogs as what we did last year. We have introduce new technologies new equipment. ... That equipment and Technologies wouldn't have been possible without so much donations for which I would love to thank advance food Belco pets Archbold designt Between these three companies angry face transport has been able to purchase the 12 berth dog trailer and a replacement station wagon. This year we also invested in tools to minimise the impact of breakdowns which are always going to happen. We have some power tools to ensure that we are back on the road as soon as possible we also invested it equipment for the dogs comfort whilst the vehicle is not moving Iregular donators have stayed with us which is fantastic even the $5 a month still buys food for the passages for a night for which they are forever grateful. We've seen some absolutely amazing rescues why do dogs have just turned around please keep us going We've also seen the effects of parvo and we share your pain Unfortunately we are now seeing a new wave of dogs coming through those that are affected by drugs more specifically ice. Which is adding a whole new dimension to transport. This year we've been fortunate enough to be in a position to help some pounds not only distribute their dogs but in the decontamination processes donated over $600 worth of products to a assist them. We are no doubt at absolute capacity. However at this stage we are blessed with some great advisors and a good board to take us into . 2019 Which is going to be a real exciting year all round. Stay safe and thanks for your support angryfacers Mel n Rah Rah

24.01.2022 Hello Angryfacers We might have been quiet on facebook but that doesnt reflect our work of driving the pound dogs around. We made the news in June with a $700.00 donation from Alison at Archibold design who does greeting cards one being of Mr Angryface himself. ... Here is a link to the news report https://www.facebook.com/WINNewsCanberra/videos/1749781675086856/?t=3 From there we were able to put this towards purchasing another car, just in the nick of time may I say - the one I am driving toda, for which we are truely greatful Now I want you to go on over and see Alisons page at https://www.facebook.com/archbolddesign/ and find the card for Mr Angryface himself and help me thank Alison for her generousity

23.01.2022 *** Still missing *** * This is not the dog at Campbelltown pound * Angryface community we need your help... *** Sighting at the Berrima Exit Northbound on Highway - Did not appear to be injured but ran off*** Bella the white English Staffy has broken out of one of our trailers dispite being in the reinforced staffy Bay She was on board at Blacktown pound at 2.45 pm today. I know as we checked and accounted for everyone. We headed south in traffic that true to Sydney was almost a stand still. Bella was on the passengers side so we are hoping was not on the road for long. Bella has a spot over her passengers side eye and is wearing a green collar and probably has some cuts from her escape.

22.01.2022 Rah Rah and I are at the annual Paws n' People event Belco Pets, come and say hello!

22.01.2022 Set up is complete for Melbourne dog lovers show 2017. Come and see us to find out how you can Help us help them

22.01.2022 Well its good bye to 2016. What a foundation year we have had to help us into 2017. In the new year you should be seeing other drivers on the road, giving us faster turnarounds heading ever more towards our 3 days to safety. Personally I will be concentrating on establishing new routes like South Australia and further north into Queensland, attending trade shows and setting up bases. ... For those who haven't noticed we have added products to our shop which give a range of tax deductible donation options. We are going to have a couple of champagnes in 2017 to hopefully improve the equipment we have to allow our expansion into other markets. This year, although we don't keep count, we have facilitated an enormous number of rescues from pounds to rescues but next year i hope this will increase 3 fold. We just need to find the right combination of drivers equipment and property. So for our loyal followers - thank you for your support in 2016. Hang on to your hats because 2017 is going to be our best year yet.

21.01.2022 Angryface passengers .... lend me your ears. We have some very exciting news for you. We have been selected for business mentoring to help us reach our goal of any dog, any pound, 3 days to safety. No we didn't get the grant for funds. The universe only gives me what I need not what I want. Those who have been following us for a while will remember twice now over the last 5 years we have tried to restructure and I've been missing something. We are expecting the mentoring t...o uncover just that. What this means for you I now have 2 other time commitments between now and August for a few days. I will advise when so there is no disruption. My mind might be otherwise occupied so please be patient with me This is the first step to your increased expectations but soon enough we will have rescue transport to where it should be. I'm envisioning a rescue world where bookings are easy, rescue is easy, transport is guaranteed, delivery times that suit you and drivers relieved of non driving duties. 2 years ago rescue focused thier attention when angryface himself was lost off transport. Amazing results happened with that positivity. I'm sure we can do it again Thank you all for coming on this journey with me. Mel

20.01.2022 Dear Angryfacers Just a note to let you know what we are doing in these difficult times Firstly let me share our sympathies with those who have fallen victim to this dreaded virus and their families no matter what country, state or city you live in. We understand it is deadly and even survival has long term effects even once the initial virus has passed. Covid 19 , as I am sure you know by now, affects the human heart, brain and lungs long term. ... Angryface Transport has been granted a permit into NSW from Victoria under strict conditions as commercial transport. We have chosen to concentrate on these routes to minimise our footprint on the spread of this virus and the safety of our drivers. For this permit to be effective we have spent great efforts developing our Covid 19 safety plan to protect our customers, staff and suppliers. Also we have developed contactless delivery and pick up procedures accounting for scenarios such as assisted and unassisted pick up / delivery. Belongings must be kept to an absolute minimum It is a requirement for a contact and location register to be completed and kept for a period of time. If you do not want your details to be recorded and available to the authorities on demand please do not request not present for delivery / pick up. A disaster recovery program has been developed in the event our drivers get sick and transport dogs including RAH RAH and other driver's dogs who may need attending on route. We ask our customers and suppliers to please be mindful of the extra stress and demands that are being placed on us at this time. Scheduling is difficult and we are prioritising firstly by Human health then by dog urgency. Please make yourself available when you say you will as this can mean the difference of us complying to our border pass conditions. Our new procedures are unlike how we operated pre covid 19. Please do not take the new procedures personally. We are thinking of the continuance of transporting the dogs to safety. Please stay safe and stay healthy. Mel, Rah Rah and the Angryface team

19.01.2022 Rah rah and Mel helping out with deliveries to help NSW fire effected wild life. First aid kits donated by hair of the dog rescue in Vic. Next week delivered of care packs for the drought effected farmers in NSW Special points if you spot Rah Rah in the photo.

19.01.2022 https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/2017-sydney-dog-lovers-show Come and see us at the Sydney dog lovers show august 5 and 6. Last year was a blast.

19.01.2022 I would like to formerly introduce the two new members of the Angry Face transport fleet. 7 years of hard work being put back into the business so we can be even closer to any dog, any pound, 3 days to safety. Just a bit of work to get them up to my standard for your dogs safety and comfort... We are now compliant with our OH&S and HR so we can soon appoint drivers.

19.01.2022 WINTER WARMERS TOUR - COMPLETED!! What do you say about the amazing Mel from Angryface Transport? Mel transports animals across Victoria, NSW and Southern QL...D, plus some of SA. A majority of her transported animals are rescues saved from rural pounds by rescue groups, often through various pledging sites which raise money to enable these animals to be saved. Mel came up to Sydney from Canberra recently, with her dog trailer & helped us load on 400kg of beds, blankets, towels, cat carriers, food, worming meds, flea treatments, treats, kitty litter and whatever we could lay our hands on! This donation has JUST arrived this afternoon into COBAR!! Here we are supporting Cobar Pound again, and also ROAR (Rural Outback Animal Rescue, based in Cobar). This rescue has come to our attention as being in great need of help, especially given the difficulties faced by everyone in the far west of NSW in recent years. The RR Winter Warmers team want to thank Mel (and her brother Greg) for transporting to Cobar, and for her never ending support of some of the most vulnerable companion animals in Australia! Thank you to the Winter Warmers team of Trish who has been liaising with Mel, and to Rosalie & Karen for all of their assistance behind the scenes to make this happen! This was a real labour of love Please remember to support the silent heroes who work tirelessly in our rural areas despite the most difficult conditions. The Winter Warmers tour will continue to open our eyes up to this year on year. And..... thats a WRAP!!

15.01.2022 Angryface Transport needs to grow to ensure the goal of any dog, any pound , 3 days to safety is achieved and sustained Today we are advertising for board members that can help us grow and sustain the growth. I do believe this is going to be with diversification. As many of our loyal followers will know, we have tried this twice in the past and have learned some valuable lessons. ... If you have board experience with growth / diversification skillset and have a commitment / passion for the welfare of animals we would love to hear from you. At present this will need to be on a volunteer base as at this point we cannot afford remuneration. In the first instance please contact Mel either by phone 0412-306-138 or send messenger message

13.01.2022 Some of the long term followers of Angry Face Transport will remember Jim. Jim was our first appointed driver in 2015. Jim helped us service the Griffith NSW, Leeton and Wagga regions. It is with extreme sadness we say goodbye to Jim as he crossed his own rainbow bridge this morning. Jim helped hundreds of animals on their Rescue journey as seen here nursing one through their quarantine period. Jim did so with kindness and compassion in his every movements which set a benchm...ark for all future drivers. Jim was unable to continue driving due to health reasons. Gone but never forgotten. RIP Jim.

07.01.2022 Come and see us this Sunday. It's a wonderful day out with very inspiring people.

07.01.2022 Fact - it costs a little over $10 per day to own a service dog. Fact - not all retired service people can afford $140 a fortnight every fortnight before vet bills and effective parasite control. Fact - a service dog can reduce Post traumatic stress incidents from more than one a week to less than 5 a year ... Angry Face Transport has helped many dogs over the years but today's was extra special. Yesterday I spoke with a lady in need, whos husband is overseas could not afford the 3 year accreditation and was talking suicide. Angry Face Transport provided a care package with parasite control, food fit for the dog, a few bits and bobs and $400.00 shortfall for the accreditation and a ton of hope. Any money donated to this post will be distributed to this lady to help her keep the service dog she so desperately needs. Angry Face Transport ltd are a registered charity and provide tax deductible receipts on request
