25.01.2022 Thanks for the birthday wishes folks! Getting old now
25.01.2022 My new single 3 Minute Movie is out today, from my latest project Angus Gill & Seasons of Change. Recorded with the members of Paul Kelly’s band. Stream and save now: https://ffm.to/3minutemovie A lot of the artists I’ve admired growing up were prepared to challenge themselves and take risks musically, regardless of the industry patterns and trends. I’m striving to follow suit with my artistic ventures and do something that’s a bit different to my solo work. It was a real tre...at to track with the members of Paul Kelly’s band, who are some of Australia’s finest rock musicians. 3 Minute Movie Credits: Produced by Angus Gill Written by Angus Gill & Alissa Moreno Mixed by Angus Gill Mastered by Jeff McCormack Artwork by Judy Nadin Peter ‘Lucky’ Luscombe - Drums Bill McDonald - Bass Ashley Naylor - Electric Guitar Cameron Bruce - Farfisa Organ and Piano Susie Ahern - Background Vocals Angus Gill - Acoustic Guitar Stuart Coupe Origin Music Publishing Alissa Moreno
25.01.2022 I’m delighted to announce that my new record 3 Minute Movies will be released on Friday 25th September. I recorded it with the members of Paul Kelly’s band, who brought such a vast range of influences to this body of work, which was what made producing it so exciting. It was a real pleasure to have the opportunity to work with this legendary group of Australian rock musicians. It’s a record that, much like myself, doesn’t fit into a single box. I can’t wait for you to hear it. Artwork by the fabulous Judy Nadin. Signed physical copies available via my website. Pre-order and pre-save now at ffm.to/3minutemovies

22.01.2022 Thrilled to have a feature in American Songwriter, published today. This magazine means a lot to me, I’ve been a subscriber since I was 13, voraciously reading and studying the craft of songwriting. Thank you to Jacob Uitti for the chat about my foray into the music business and my new album 3 Minute Movies. Check it out here: https://americansongwriter.com/three-minute-movie-angus-gi/

20.01.2022 HUGE CONGRATS to my good friend, Bev Killick who is nominated for the ARIA Best Comedy Release for her debut single Crummy Mummy, which I produced and we co-wrote, based on her critically acclaimed stand up show of the same name. Besides being a good friend, she is one of the funniest stand up comedians I’ve seen and I couldn’t be prouder or more excited for her. She’s always breaking out into song in her standup shows and I finally convinced her to step into the studio to record her debut single. So glad she did! Luv ya Aunty B! xx A-List Entertainment

12.01.2022 Last night we lost my beautiful tea drinking, card dealing Grandma Vera Gill at 81, due to Alzheimer’s. Grandy and I were very close, she’s been my muse and the reason I developed a passion for music. I miss the hours of playing gin rummy on the dining room table, talking over a hot cup of Tetley’s and I remember how we used to laugh when she took a sip and her glasses fogged up. Very grateful for the time we spent together. It’s not goodbye, just see you later
11.01.2022 Happy Mother's Day! Here's a music video to my song Cornerstone, dedicated to all the Mothers & Grandmothers. I've never produced and edited a film clip before, but in the times of Rona, I got out my iPhone and had a crack. I wrote this song with my buddy Matt Scullion Music a while ago. I got the idea for this song when I was touring Tasmania and I visited the MONA - Museum of Old and New Art in Hobart. Lifted from my Welcome To My Heart album.

11.01.2022 I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my good mate David Woodward yesterday. Woody gave so much to the music industry and was the type of person who was only ever a phone call away. I will be forever indebted to his support, guidance and friendship. Rest in peace my mate.
11.01.2022 A few years ago, I met Paul Kelly and his band through my mate Steve Earle. Fast forward a year later in Dec 2018, I made a record with the PK band. Last month Steve put his part down on our duet, The New Old Me, which drops tomorrow. Pre-order my new album 3 Minute Movies and you’ll receive the duet as an instant download. 06.01.2022 Thanks to Glide Magazine in the US for premiering my duet with Steve Earle. a swaggering blast of a bygone whirl of bluesy Country that possesses a road-house rhythm snap. Call it Autraliacana, or whatever you may will but Gill’s aged voice reminds listeners of young oldsters like Colter Wall and Cody Jinks. It doesn’t hurt to have a Mr. Steve Earle singing on it either! Check it out: https://glidemagazine.com//song-premiere-angus-gill-seaso/

The first single 3 Minute Movie from my Angus Gill & Seasons of Change project will be released on July 3. Very excited to share this one with you.

04.01.2022 When you point your finger at me, make sure your hands are clean Sanitiser merch has never been so handy! Hope you’ve been keeping well during these pandemoniac times! I’ve been pretty quiet on here. I’m working in the studio on several album projects I’m producing for other artists, and one for myself with Paul Kelly’s band. Stay tuned for those and take care! AG
