24.01.2022 A young family at Narrawallee Beach enjoying this beautiful place without another soul in sight! It's funny, but we all kinda like to claim this beach as our own, simply because there are seldom people around and secondly, because we just love it! 08.01.2022 I'm still studying my fresh cut waratah flowers and just loving them. This is a bud that is fairly open. The petals are in fact floral bracts that surround the centre of the waratah which has up to 240 individual little flowers! Nature is wonderful! I'm spreading the love and this series can be seen on @artloversaustralia, @bluethumbart and @outbackcreative

07.01.2022 Commissions are often challenging, but will more than likely stretch you, gaining new expertise and with that confidence to boot! I've been working on this commission and studying numerous methods of painting flowers. The bottom whitish one was inspired by Chinese painting, whilst the top purplish one has a Russian twist to it! In order not to have too many styles on the go, the top right one is a combination of both and a bit extra!... All is super well when both customer and painter are in joyous harmony! 06.01.2022 Another Waratah painting from my gorgeous cut bunch. I believe this is the Telopea Braidwood Brilliant, a hybrid of the main Telopea Speciosissima, which is also the NSW state emblem. This one has smooth-edged leaves compared to the Speciosisima with serrated ones.
