25.01.2022 Today I met with Business Owner and all round legend, @Shooby Kandel from Mude. I asked him about his creative business journey and what really drives him in the Digital Strategic Branding Industry. Shooby has been running his business with his business partners Ben and Taka since 2015. Shooby tells me about some of the bespoke creative products they offer at Mude, including a selection of unique and tailor designed Music Production Video Production & Editing Moti...on Graphics Web Design Web Development Branding Graphic Design Shooby explains some of the specialty elements of his products. Each client we deliver to is serviced with a unique proposition. As a bespoke company we can provide clients, with individualised products. For example our music producer can make an advertisement song, jingle or music effects unique to our client’s brand. We can also offer personalised video messages, which have an adaptive technology to change for each person it’s sent to, and we can send thousands of these videos at a time. And the more video’s you send, the cheaper the cost. I asked Shooby to tell me something special about his business. Shooby explains to me his innovative business philosophy; We challenge ourselves every day to reject conventionality. What we aim to do is consistently reimagine our approach to creative content. We love to find meaning in the mundane and make the ordinary, extraordinary. Communicating the inexpressible is key for us; so we can find a language for the things that we understand, but struggle to articulate. Our aim to always be more. I quiz Shooby on who his favourite clients are to work with and he tells me, I love working with those who have a desire to take their business to the next level. Shooby explains that the clients he really connects with are those he builds a strong long term relationship with. We don’t believe in a transactional approach, we prefer to have a business partnership, where we build trust and understanding around a holistic business approach to Creative Branding. Collaboration with our clients is really important to us, and building trust in our Creative Freedom abilities, which we always back up with Industry research. 16.01.2022 Today I spoke to Lee Mavanna from Blackbooks.I asked her about her business journey and what’s special about Black Books. Lee has been bookkeeping for more years than she was willing to share with me. She’s worked many years in Melbourne, sunny Merimbula and now she taking over the Queanbeyan market! I asked Lee to tell me about something special about her Bookkeeping business, and why her clients love her. She tells me, ‘I’ve worked many years for small medium business’ an...d what I find most rewarding is working with business owners and taking the paperwork and stress away from them allowing them to do what they do best. By working with me, there’s a clear communication with my clients, about their day to day financial activities, and no nasty surprises or costly mistakes, being fixed up by their tax accountant at the end of the year.’ Lee shared with me, how she’s been able to help business owners. She explains ‘I can help clients by moving their cash flow from erratic to stable. Clients can avoid making costly errors or paying back excessive tax bills, when they use my services. I keep track of all your expenses and I get to really understand your financial capability as a business. Also, I help my clients to understand that a sale is not a sale, until the money is in the bank; and that can be a hard lesson to learn without the support I can offer’. I quiz Lee on who her favourite clients are and she tells me, ‘I love working with small to medium sized business, and I’ve worked with all types of organisations from Financial Advisors to Dairy Farmers. But if I had to pick out the qualities of my favourite clients, I’d have to say it equates to a trusting relationship through communication and collaboration. I can achieve the best outcomes for my clients when we are openly able to discuss their financial plans and decisions. Sometimes you may not be aware of the flow on effect of a financial decision. It’s great when I’m able to collaborate with business owners and we can work together on the daily nuts and bolts of their finances. That’s when I can share my knowledge and really help either save money or avoid costly errors’.
