Kantha blankets are made using vintage saris, layered together and hand stitched using the traditional Kantha stitch. In Bangladesh nothing is wasted, worn vintage saris are re-purposed into soft cotton blankets. Because of the vintage element some have small repairs and patches, giving them a unique handmade quality and a glimpse into their former use. 10.01.2022 A great resource to help us chose ethically when buying our clothes. Unfortunately it is not just our clothing that can be made using exploited workers. Make sure you do some research and buy ethically with all your textiles.
