17.01.2022 Yeah.. you know it!! Haha.. I find massage to be akin to feline type of activity.. who'd agree? They are nurturing company to have.. and they purr when you pat them.. hello.. they totally LOVE IT! They are also seen as shamanic in terms of their animal medicine/ totem power. They are said to be able to see and traverse through fractal worlds or the bardos, the in-between worlds. No wonder they can see at night.. they have a supernatural kind of vision that enables them to see... what others cannot. They also have the physical prowess to be able to pull off almost anything.. even travelling through these different realities while remaining ninjas of the night. A most skilled hunter... connected to the earth on all fours, stable and balanced in the physical world as well as communicators to the other worlds.. they are the shaman or shamaness of the animal kingdom. They are multidemensional for sure! I learn a lot from this symbolism and apply these same attitude & intention in my practice of bodywork. The type of bodywork I've been trained in by the wonderful Iolani Grace, is called rites-of-passage bodywork. A journey from one phase to the next.. one season of your life to another. A transition.. similar to the feline powers of travelling between the worlds of death and rebirth.
