19.01.2022 Hello everyone, our proposed protest at Oakbank next Sunday is cancelled as they are not holding any jumps races, and although all horse racing is appallingly cruel, our main target is the jumps. Hold a thought for all the horses next Sunday.

13.01.2022 Imagine a politician campaigning for stiff restrictions on meat consumption. Critics would accuse him or her of punishing the poor for people who barely think of the poor always invoke them when their pleasures are threatened. They would be damned for wanting to ban the good old Sunday lunch and the joy a Big Mac brings. Our grandchildren may look back and find our abuse of animals incomprehensible. For the moment, arguments to stop abuse provoke incomprehension.

12.01.2022 Hi everyone, next Sunday 2nd August we will hold our monthly meeting at the Box Factory at 10am. As per Covid restrictions we cannot offer any food to share, but will provide tea and coffee etc., so please bring your own cup and snacks for yourself if you want. Hope to see you all then.

Please join us if you can - social distancing applies. On Sunday 6th we will be at the Box Factory at 10am for our General Meeting. Please remember to bring your keep cup or water bottle. Again we are following Covid restrictions as per distancing and sanitiser use etc. All welcome.

06.01.2022 Hi everyone, we will be back at the Box Factory this Sunday 5th July at 10am for our General Meeting. There will be space restrictions, hand sanitiser available (or bring your own), and we cannot make use of shared cups etc to make tea and coffee, so please bring your own cup.
