19.01.2022 I don’t normally vent my frustration on Facebook, but today I have to. In the last month I received 2 phone calls from people that had unplanned puppies. Both times we agreed that I would take the puppies and do what I always do: care for them, get them vet checked, vaccinated and later desexed. In one instance I even offered to pay for the desexing of the 2 mothers. Then silence I enquired about the exchange, but was totally ignored. Are the puppies being sold? given away? ...I don’t know, but what I do know is that a lot of those ‘cute’ puppies will end up neglected, not vaccinated, not desexed, not looked after. I try my best caring for puppies/kittens and find them the best homes possible, with the support of an amazing community! PLEASE YOU PEOPLE OUT THERE! DO NOT SELL OR GIVE AWAY YOUR PUPPIES/KITTENS, but follow up on your initial good intention, to surrender them to a rescue place! The ‘cute’ puppies will grow into big dogs; some of them will end up at my doorstep at a later date. See more

This handsome, clever young fella has outgrown and outwitted our family (he's just under 50kgs). He needs an owner who is athletic and confident to train him more (he's a willing pupil). Prefer experience with either Maremma or Border Collie breed before. Not recommended for families with young children. He'd do well as solo companion and a bloke to love. Deep bark. He is... in top physical shape, desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccines. He loves car trips, big walks/runs, chewing toys and belly rubs. He has a strong herding instinct, is also protective of our family inside boundary, and dislikes skateboards, posties and unfortunately most visitors.
