20.01.2022 Wasn’t Pikachu brave for her desexing?! We thoroughly enjoyed giving her the all clear after her spey Did you know, that desexing at 6 months of age dramatically reduces the chance of your dog developing breast (mammary) cancer. It also prevents unplanned puppies, messy heats and a life-threatening infection (Pyometra). ... Give us a call for any further information or if you would like to book you puppy or kitten in for their desexing #animaldoctors #puppy

18.01.2022 Things are going to be a little different at the moment... If you’ve been in clinic in the past fortnight, you’ll be aware that things are a little different at the moment. Our staff are enforcing the following bio security protocols to ensure the safety of our staff and the wider community:... All clients booking appointments will be screened by our staff to ensure they are not displaying any cold/flu signs, have not been overseas in the past week or been instructed to isolate. We are limiting the number of people in our reception area to ONE person at any one time. Please wait outside until this person exits reception, or call us on 93896336 (Waverley) or 93314334 (City) and we can answer questions, process payments and/or bring you any products outside. Only ONE person can attend an appointment with their pet, and children are not to be brought into the clinic at this time. Clients who are late for appointments will need to be rescheduled. We are booking appointments with 10 minute gaps in between clients so all surfaces can be cleaned. Phone well in advance of running out to order prescription medicine refills. We usually require 24 hours notice, but we are kindly asking for a minimum of 48-72 hours notice while their may be delays in orders arriving. If you need to pop in clinic to collect medication, food, flea/tick/worming or other products, please call in advance so we can have these products waiting for you at reception to limit the number of people in our reception area at one time. We are not accepting cash payments at this time. We are not allowing owners past our reception or consulting room at this time, to view our cattery or visit pets in hospital. I want to thank our amazing clients for their patience and cooperation in following our instructions at this time. We’re looking after our staff, so they can continue looking after your pets Poseidon here was very cooperative

15.01.2022 We’re looking after our people so they can look after your pets! At Animal Doctors, we want to make sure that we can be here to look after you and your pets. There are several areas we are asking for help from our clients in the coming months while NSW deals with the Covid-19 pandemic, these are: - If you have returned this week from overseas travel, in line with Australian Government guidelines around self-isolation, please don’t come to the clinic. If your pet needs urge...nt assistance, please call us to discuss options. - If you have cold and flu symptoms, or are self-isolating, we ask that you delay your consultation until the period of self-isolation is complete or symptoms are resolved. If your pet needs urgent assistance, please call us to discuss options so we can determine the best course of action which may include collecting your pet from your car or conducting the consultation via phone. - Social distancing: we are booking appointments with gaps in between patients so that the reception area and consultation room can be cleaned in between visits, and we can minimise the number of people in the clinic at one time. If you are running late for an appointment, please let us know well in advance so we can manage this. - Please use contact-less payment methods. We thank you in advance for your consideration. Let's all work together to flatten the curve and protect those most vulnerable in our society.

13.01.2022 Could I be your furever home? Meet the beautiful 11 week old kitten, Maggie. Maggie is now looking for her perfect forever home after a rough start in life. Maggie was brought to Animal Doctors by two good samaritans who witnessed her being thrown out of a car window. Luckily, she sustained no injuries and has been in our care ever since.... Whilst in our care, Maggie has completely come out of her shell. Despite her past, she is a super relaxed, friendly and affectionate kitten. Maggie loves nothing better than cuddles with her humans or snoozing away in a quiet corner. She is an absolute purr machine the moment you start cuddling her! She will come desexed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations, flea and worming preventatives. She is litter trained, and comes with a starter pack of her favourite kitten food, litter, bed and toys! Maggie has been tested and is fine with dogs, but she has not been tested with other cats or children yet. She is an indoor cat. She will have an adoption fee of $200 which will go towards covering the cost of her care. If you are interested in a meet and greet with Maggie and think you could be the right home for her, please contact us on 9389 6336 or via email at [email protected]. Otherwise, please share this post to help us find her the forever home she deserves
