24.01.2022 Another LANTERN COURSE today!!! Another great group of people!!! We are now venturing into making KOOKABURRAS!!!... Today was a pup day.... and here they are... Some really sweet pups.... When the KOOKAS are finished I will post them.... that’s if they don’t fly away!!!!

17.01.2022 My LANTERN COURSES are on again !! A few more course dates are now. Tuesday 20 October. FILLED Thursday 22 October. THREE SPOTS LEFT... Saturday 24 October. FULL Wednesday 28 October TWO SPOTS LEFT Saturday 31 October. FOUR SPOTS LEFT Saturday 7 November. FULL Wednesday 11 November FULL Saturday 21 November. FOUR SPOTS LEFT Friday 11 December. FULL Happy to do other dates as the need arises! Lots of fun... Make a starter lantern.... a pup or a chook! They light up up! FINIAN is my latest lantern..... and I am working on his brother FERGUS. Come see them in my studio 10 and 11 October 17 and 18 October from 10am till 4pm as part of NOOSA OPEN STUDIOS. This year I have combined with Kevin Hart. He makes the most amazing timber furniture. So come and see our work.... we love what we do!!
17.01.2022 Three workshops done..... another one this Friday.... So many nice people!!! Chooks.... a dachshund..... some mongrel dogs of unknown origin!!!!... All individual..... But all so delightfully different.... A Kooka to be done on Friday!! Only issue is that Harley Quinn gets up to no good whilst we create....

15.01.2022 Well....it’s finally raining.... Great for the garden.... but lousy for drying lanterns.... HOWEVER.... Some of the chooks made recently at one of my lantern workshops got together for a morning tea..... and it was the biggest HENS PARTY in DOONAN..... Until Harley Quinn came along and ate all the cakes....!!!!
14.01.2022 Hi all!! Great weather for drying lanterns!! I am busy making my lantern for NOOSA OPEN STUDIOS in October..... sitting near the fireplaces at night time with Harley Quinn!!! However he would prefer it if I paid more attention to him!!!... And yes..... he is still growing.... I have recommenced LANTERN CLASSES. I now have two full courses booked for early September...... interest is growing. Even some returning to make another lantern! NOOSA OPEN STUDIOS organised an evening to connect us to INSTAGRAM..... I am trying hard to get into this!!!! If you are interested in making a lantern please contact me!!! COVID has made us all lock down.... my classes are small.... just four people. All care taken. Hopefully I will meet some of you in October for the OPEN STUDIOS. I have combined with Kevin Hart who makes the most amazing timber furniture and other things. Such a clever guy. 13.01.2022 Christmas approaches..... I had planned to do Christmas lantern courses but have been tied up (happily) with the MOREE DROUGHT DOGS ISSUE!!!! So in the New Year I will again run courses for my lantern lovers!... I will always be available to make lanterns for any groups raising money for animals and animal welfare. Hope you all have a great Christmas. Thanks to those who have shown an interest in what I do..... many MOREE MUTTS AND MOGGIES have been saved and many more will have a bright future in the New Year. 11.01.2022 Hello to all my lantern lovers!!! The year has started.... and I am now organised!!! My MOREE DROUGHT DOGS are now being saved in a well organised and regular way to allow them to be re homed. 92 dogs saved since November last year!... So now I feel I can run my lantern courses again. I will be running classes from mid March.... so if you wish to do my course then please message me....... choose a weekday or weekend and let me know your preference. The course runs for one day... 9 am till 4pm. Only four people in each course. COST $145 including all materials. Bring a finger food lunch to share. It is a fun day..... you will make either a chook or a pup as a starter lantern. The first two dates on offer are Saturday 7 March and Wednesday 11 March..... but let me know any other dates that suit. I am flexible. Hope to hear from you all soon. BRON

01.01.2022 CHRISTMAS KEVIN WORKSHOPS Christmas just a few weeks away now....!!!! How about joining one of my last three lantern courses for the year and making a CHRISTMAS KOOKABURRA???... One day workshops from 9am till 4.30pm. Your KOOKA can be on a branch that you can hang near your Christmas tree..... or he can sit nearby!!!........ and he will light up!!!! All materials provided including a festive ribbon and a love heart!!! Morning tea provided and bring a plate of finger food to share for lunch.
