24.01.2022 Sometimes it’s great to have some fun and capture other images when I go to scan a horse. I recently had the pleasure of scanning at a GC Dressage barn - Farrier Joel was in attendance. How awesome do these look ?

21.01.2022 Fantastic to see that the Australian Team is using thermal cameras to monitor any changes in the horses health. Finding an area of concern (whether a hot spot or cold area) allows for immediate intervention to the equine. Immediate intervention is most likely to reduce down time and ensure longevity of your partner.

05.01.2022 Congratulations to our Sponsored Rider Brittney Young.....

02.01.2022 In Australia there is currently a lack of legislation (none actually) about qualifications surrounding Animal Thermography. Therefore , unfortunately some people have cameras and have no qualifications in animal thermography. They may have done a little 2-3 day online course BUT to meet an industry standard this would absolutely not suffice. It has taken myself over 18 months to undertake an appropriate level of thermography training for animals. This included attending trai...ning in the United Kingdom and one year of case studies (approved by animal scientists). Significant cost of course. The emerging rise of people who think there is money to make in animal thermography has and will continue to tarnish the industry that previous well trained animal thermographers in Australia have done to gain trust/respect and provide appropriate reports to the vet industry. It’s a sad state of affairs. If your getting a report done , ask what qualifications the person has and where they did their course ? Don’t be afraid to ask the questions. It’s your report and you are entitled to know your report will be correct and viewed by a vet or specialist as a quality report.
