21.01.2022 Black Lives Matter, They will always Matter to me!. I worked for several years in the Australian Outback as a nurse with several communities of our Australian First Nations peoples. They and their land captured my heart, the red dirt got into my Soul.... *Based on my original photograph of one of my indigenous elders holding my hand.... Acrylic on birch wood. #blacklivesmatter

A time when YOU took time out of the chaos to focus on something else..... mindfully stacking one rock on another to prevent them falling. Breathe deep...... #stonesculpture #stackstone

08.01.2022 Sneak peek-I have been accepted into the Minds Do Matter community exhibition at our local Museum (QVMAG) The brief was ‘Balance’. ‘Balance- A personal journey into the (new) Negative’. The work is about celebrating the material taken away and discarded in the process of creating stone sculptures. Looking at the ‘negative spaces’ .... exploring the faults.....the flaws and blemishes.... A comment on life?? We tend to only look at the finished product... not what has been taken away and discarded in the process of creation. It is tactile, raw and polished together.....
