22.01.2022 Happy Christmas to all my wonderful customers. Hope this Christmas brings us all a blessed time with our families and friends and into a better new year.

21.01.2022 So happy that we Victorians have worked so hard for this day. Now for some retail therapy. My stall numbers Ankh Books H20, Ankhor fashions and fun B20.

18.01.2022 Ankh Antiquarian Books will be closed to visiting customers until Feb 18th, as will our stores at Waverley Antique Bazaar and Wonthaggi Market. However our eBay store is still very much open. Stay safe Melbourne.

18.01.2022 Some cute book labels found in my books. Tidying up the shop today and finding all sorts of ephemera.

14.01.2022 Don't forget my 20% off sale on my ebay store is still running until the end of January. Have a look now for some really good items. https://www.ebay.com.au/usr/ankh2

12.01.2022 https://www.ebay.com/str/ankhantiquarianbooks Just opened a new ebay store in the vague hope that I may actually sell something. This year has been very tough for all booksellers and I hope you will check out some of my items. I will now be adding new books every day, so if I don't email me and give me a virtual hurry up!

11.01.2022 Running for local Council in Covid times is tricky but worth doing. My advertising just arrived. Just thought you’d like to know that booksellers are multi-skilled.

11.01.2022 Putting more books on eBay and mucking around deciding what I should read next. I’m doing some lectures next year on Osiris at the TSP and also Amarna, not hard to read on those subjects really. Aidan Dodson has some new books coming out next year too. May 2021 be a great year for you where-ever you are in the world. Thank you for the calls, emails and pictures sent to me this year cheering me up and letting me know you are alright from my colleagues and customers. I have some wonderful friends around the world. Here’s a look at some of my favourite books from this year.

10.01.2022 Did you know I'm having an ebay 20% off everything on my Store for the whole month of January. That includes my medieval books which are usually in the $20,000 range! A wonderful set of Maspero, KMT magazines, shire books and Pyramid books to name a few. One day post and free post to Australia. Hope you take a look and I am happy to include any stock in my shop at the same discount for January, just email, or phone to see what I have. 06.01.2022 After 31 years of book selling I still get excited unwrapping a parcel of rare books. Wow just arrived and I’m in love, do I really@have to sell them? @ Ankh Antiquarian Books

04.01.2022 So happy to actually have all four shops open now, may it continue. Stalls at Wonthaggi Market (Kurrumburra Rd), Waverley Antique Bazaar. 02.01.2022 I just want to promote a local Melbourne business http://ankhantiquarianbooks.com.au/ Many of you may know the proprietor, Jennifer Jaeger. I have just purchased a yearly subscription to a great magazine called KMT. Jennifer also has Minerva and Egyptian Archaeology, the magazine of the Egyptian Exploration Society. ... While we are supporting our local cafe or the big supermarket chains let's not forgot those small innovative businesses that are doing it tough during this pandemic. Please consider buying a magazine. If you can't afford a yearly subscription just one will do. Once you receive it in the mail you'll realise that you have to go back for more! Both KMT and EA list new information about projects in Egypt so its a great way to keep on top of what is happening in the land that we love. Please support local businesses through the pandemic. Our support helps them but will also ensure that when this horror is over we can continue to buy as we once did. To do this, businesses need to stay afloat. Please consider buying just one magazine. Interstate folks here's a great opportunity to support a great Melbourne business. The website is below. Thanks. Keep Safe xx
