25.01.2022 Needing your #septictank or #greasetrap pumped... We're available in #Manjimup this Friday!! 0428 820 201 [email protected]

24.01.2022 Your #septic system works under the premise that all grey water & toilet waste flow out to your #septictank From there, liquid will filter from the tank, through your leach drain & solids will remain in the tank. During winter, the leach drain process must compete with rainfall. ... If your tank is reaching capacity, this traffic jam effect of liquid not being able to dissipate through the system will mean that... Well, we think you get the picture If in doubt, book an appointment for us to empty your tanks. We will remove the lids, suction everything out & give your system a fresh start. #controlledwaste #leachdrain #greasetrap #manjimup #bridgetown #boyupbrook

18.01.2022 When tissues, wet wipes and paper towels get flushed it can result in a pipe monster like this! Help keep our wastewater network (and your household plumbin...g!) healthy by only flushing the 3P's - pee, poo, and toilet paper. Everything else goes in the bin. 17.01.2022 Now for some science. Watch how these items break down when wet. Although they may seem similar, tissues, paper towels, serviettes, and even 'flushable' we...t wipes don't break down in water like toilet paper does. Remember to only flush the 3P's - pee, poo and toilet paper - and pop everything else in the bin. Learn more >> http://bit.ly/2kX26VX

17.01.2022 To save yourself a potential plumber call-out and keep our wastewater network healthy, remember only pee, poo and (toilet) paper down the loo. Everything else in the bin. Learn more >> http://bit.ly/2kX26VX

16.01.2022 When looking for a contractor to empty your #septic, price is obviously a consideration, but you need to factor in how that price relates back to the big picture. If you are paying a lower price for a service that needs to be repeated every few year's, it is going to be more expensive than getting the job done right, first pump. Removing your lids to get EVERYTHING out, gives your system a fresh start & should be a job you don't need to think about again for a very long time. #septictank #controlledwaste #leachdrain #greasetrap #suckitup #anlwaste #manjimup #bridgetown #greenbushes #boyupbrook #mayanup #pemberton #northcliffe #quinninup

15.01.2022 YUCK! SEWER BLOCKAGES ON THE RISE AND ON THE NOSE The Water Corporation has reported a 34 per cent increase in sewer blockages across the Wheatbelt and G...oldfields regions, including some caused by people flushing high-vis clothing and shower curtains down the toilet. The increase is being blamed on toilet paper shortages caused by panic buying amid the coronavirus pandemic. Watercorp regional manager Evan McCartin says there has been 35 blockages so far this year, up from 26 last year. People were finding it more difficult to get their hands on toilet paper, especially as people were bulk buying or panic buying, he said. I think that’s easing off now, but people have been flushing other materials down the toilets. "We have seen some instances of rags, t-shirts, those types of things. There's been evidence of high-vis work shirts which have been used and cut up and there's been evidence of other things like shower curtains and other things like that which we don't normally see. Mr McCartin says products like wet wipes, paper kitchen towel and sanitary products do not break down in wastewater pipes and can cause blockages. The Watercorp is asking people to only flush what it calls the 3P’s pee, poo and toilet paper. As of April 7, there have been 1,965 blockages this year across the Watercorp’s wastewater network. The cost of clearing blockages across WA has been nearly $20.4 million over the past five years.

09.01.2022 Happy National Eucalypt Day

09.01.2022 RELIEF FROM TOILET TAX After much lobbying including a letter to the Minister and questions in Parliament, I welcome the announcement the State Government will ...waive the fixed sewerage service fees for businesses with four or more wastewater fixtures for four months. This is a huge relief to the many regional businesses that have been either closed or had very few customers, yet were still required to pay the fixed ‘toilet tax’ service fee to Water Corporation. I am very appreciative the Minister and State Government listened to our regional businesses and understand the pain this fixed charge is causing. Businesses can now focus on welcoming visitors back to the region as our accommodation providers, restaurants and cafes resume trading.

07.01.2022 To keep our customers & family safe, changes to our operations are now in place. We will take advance bookings for a specific area, on a set date. We will notify customers through social media of the trucks availability, as far in advance as practicable. ... We will email instructions to have the site prepared for the truck's arrival, please email or call if there is anything you are unsure about. If there is an issue, the operator will phone you to discuss & #SocialDistancing practices will apply. We will continue to invoice you electronically. If you wish to pay in cash, please have the money available in an envelope, where the operator can collect.
