However, its equally beneficial for experienced practitioners lookin...g to achieve energetic balance through physical postures, breath practice and meditation. 16.01.2022 AT LAST! We are back. It’s been months! I am so looking forward to teaching face to face again and seeing you all this week. I will be at yoga body works 6pm Wednesday, 4:30pm Friday in the studio or live online. ... I am also taking private yoga therapy sessions that includes personalised assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management and yoga practice to promote optimal health and well-being. These sessions are so benifical for all ages and conditions and it’s a great introductory to yoga if you haven’t tried it before.

13.01.2022 Yoga is a multi layered journey. Improving flexibility and range of motion is just one of the benifits of practicing yoga. At a deeper level, when the heart is open, we are filled with love, compassion and joy which is reflected in our energy, interactions and relationships.

10.01.2022 As the seasons shift, so do our bodies and minds. Nature is starting to come alive and I feel like I am too. I love spring and find it’s a wonderful opportunity to shift focus towards new beginnings. Here are a few tips to shake away the heaviness of winter and support renewal. -Drink a glass of warm water with fresh lemon first thing in the morning to enhance digestion and clear accumulated mucus. -Bring in Kapha reducing asana (yoga poses) like twists, side stretches and ...chest openers to help relieve congestion and stimulate digestion and detoxification. -Eat less heavy, rich oily foods and choose more warm, light and easily digestible foods. -Get out into nature. -Try going to bed a little earlier and waking with the sun. It can be hard to start with but our bodies are naturally more alive early in the morning and it sets the tone for your day ahead.
