24.01.2022 My heart is breaking for all those who are suffering as a result of racism. I'm watching with horror the events that are unfolding in the US, and pained in the knowledge that my own country, Australia, is not exempt with its treatment of our indigenous brothers and sisters as well as the treatment of refugees and other minority groups. You see, when it all comes down to it, we are all one. It does not matter where you are from, what colour you are. We are all one family.

I'm blessed to be sitting in a beautiful local spot, which is only 5 minutes from a shopping centre on the first day of 2021.We are truly blessed in Canberra with so much of nature on our doorstep. Looking back, we were struggling with the thickest smoke from the South Coast bush fires on the first day of 2020, which seems now in hindsight to be an introduction to 2020. A new year, a new beginning. My wish for all of us is simple: may we all enjoy good health..., may we all know we are supported, may we all know love, may we all live without fear, may we all know and experience our humanity and the humanity of others, may we all know serenity and may we all be at peace.
