08.01.2022 Waterfall. Just completed. I have witnessed so many emotions this week, some are my own and those of others. I’ve tapped into and transformed all of those feels into an abstract waterfall. It flows and washes over fixed objects... the felt sense of this painting through creating and ‘sitting with’ this waterfall resonates on a deep level.... Thought I’d share for anyone else who needs this too Indwelling Lessons: Life is fluid. Honour your emotions and allow them to flow through you. Wise mind is where it’s at, not too rigid/black & white, not too emotional..have a mindset that meets in the middle. Compassion and heart are key

06.01.2022 *Good News story* Recently I received an email to say my painting had sold and needed to be packaged up... it was off to a collector in America. Words can’t exp...lain all the feels sending this painting off overseas... I’m so glad it will be loved and appreciated...after all this painting was created at a time when I’d just lost someone very close and part of my healing process was to paint ... out of the depths of grief came a beautiful gift- it won the Marymount Art Prize and has journeyed with me through a number of experiences ...reminding me of life’s balance - there is light and shadow in all we experience and that is a beautiful thing! A massive thanks to Nick Ward for spending half a day to help pack it you are so awesome See more
