16.01.2022 Open at the gallery today from 10:30 to 3 ish with the stunning Tall ship James Craig in at port. Gallery hours, like the weather, have been a bit random at the moment, with my wonderful gallery attendant/mum, being a bit under the weather. Also open tomorrow, Friday, from 12 to 4ish. Storm brewing, 56 x 60 cm, oil on linen, $600.

15.01.2022 Very sad to say that mum died on Sunday and the gallery and all our family will not be the same without her. While the paintings are mine, "Full fathom five gallery" was mum's domain. I think that most people reading this would have met Wendy down at the gallery while I was painting away. Her patience and commitment to sit there and wait for the right person to meet the right painting was amazing. We joked about printing her a t-shirt : "No, I'm not the artist, my daughter is"...so many times she was asked that question and smiled. We all loved her and will miss her unfathomably. This was the painting she chose, back in the "Heritage house" gallery days. "Distant lighthouse" 150 x 90cm.

14.01.2022 "Albatross into the night", oil on linen, 56 x 46 cm.

11.01.2022 Blue skies have been scarce. Hard to know where to start after everything that has occurred and affected us and left a scarred blackened landscape after the fires. But here's one of the new paintings that I had ready for the summer season...Not quite the usual January at the gallery. Great to still see the pair of Sea eagles roosting together side by side, at Wonboyn lake. "Sea eagles and godwits", oil on linen, 46 x 60 cm

10.01.2022 A very big heartfelt thank you to everyone for their beautiful words about mum. I’ve passed them all on to dad and all the family appreciate reading your wishes and hearing from old friends or her new gallery customers. You’ve all described her beautifully; so generous with her time and love for us. The grandkids (now adults) and great grandkids adored her (and ate all her chocolates). She especially loved it when children came in and enjoyed the paintings... she told me all the little gallery stories. Thank you for your thoughts and sharing them with us

04.01.2022 Buckle up ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls. This unpredictable year continues and it’s hit Eden again. With a very heavy heart my gallery, Full fathom five, down at the wharf, will have its last day open on Saturday. All tenants have been asked to leave the Marine discovery centre due to a damning health and safety report on the building. The full story can be found here: ... https://www.edenmagnet.com.au//eden-wharf-tenants-face-e/ Not good timing, as I was painting away for my annual whale festival exhibition for early November (even though there was no whale festival but the show must go on). Some of those new paintings made it to the gallery very briefly. So for any locals wanting to step on that squeaky floorboard one last time; drop down to a deserted wharf area on Saturday from 10:30 to 2:30 New whales, oceans, and fire paintings. My mum and I met so many different people over the 10 years we’d been there. Thank you to all my loyal repeat offenders and to those who’d visit every year on holiday and those that just liked to look. I’ll still be painting, I’ll still be posting on here and the cogs are turning in regards to a future gallery space.

04.01.2022 "Through the moonlit waves", 50 x 40 cm, oil on linen.

He's still choofing along and theres a little bit of him amd mum in every stretcher made that I paint on. "Smoke flare and lightning", oil on linen, 46 x 56 cm
