25.01.2022 Huffington Post asked for my opinion on the speaking style and hand gestures of our PM, Malcom Turnbull - happy to oblige! I say he's astonishingly consistent and not contrived. I want to see the true character come through. Nothing coached or trained about our PM - it's au naturel, compared to some who are over-trained. No, "ready to punch someone", not my words!
24.01.2022 Hello everyone! I am very pleased to share my news..... As Head of Media at Ogilvy PR - I look forward to working with you!
23.01.2022 Honoured to join the Nomination Panel, selecting Board members for the ABC and SBS - working towards supporting and driving the continued relevance of public broadcasting in Australia.
22.01.2022 Inspired by the movie "Suffragette", I dedicated today's Dailytelegraph.com.au column to those women "wanderers", who paved the way for us across generations and across the world. So described by Olive Schreiner in her book "Three Dreams in a Desert", and referenced in the movie. Notable for me is Mary Lee, who fought for South Australia to grant women the vote in 1894. Our challenges remain - magnified in Germany after the New Year attacks. For those courageous to lead the way and who hear the footsteps of people behind them, says Schreiner: "They are the feet of those who shall follow you. Lead on."
19.01.2022 My review of the @w20Turkey Summit and the need to cut through a crowded market place of international 'summitry' to establish relevance and achievable goals. Great start in Turkey. I wish China well for W20 2016. Check out my article here: http://www.lowyinterpreter.org//W20-makes-its-mark-in-Ista

19.01.2022 Your work email tells me you're "Out Of Office" but are you, really? It's like a drug. We're all addicted and more than 90% of us don't ever switch off. There's a power play here - does the sender have the power, or do you, the receiver? Seize back some power over the holidays! For all urgent matters, people, pick up the phone and call me. 18.01.2022 My preview piece for this past week's Women20 (W20) Summit in Xi'an, China. As Australia's representative - I share with Dr Susan Harris-Rimmer - there has been some success and progress for the voice and inclusion of women, economically. Keep an eye for my further commentary and a review of what we achieved and what we hope for - in the coming days. Thanks to Women's Agenda
17.01.2022 Hello everyone! As Australia’s rep to the W20 (Women20) Engagement Group I am pleased that women of the world are making headlines raising the stakes in the economic empowerment of women. Yes, it came via Ivanka Trump being booed in Berlin. German Chancellor, Angela Merkel invited her to the W20 Summit and the headlines have followed. Women’s empowerment is high on the agenda again! As is vocational education - a key to a skilled workforce, especially for women.
17.01.2022 Consider this a piece of helpful advice for the Christmas/New Year season - if your relationship is on the slide, and you're not sure about what to do - take a breath - don't be in a rush - and take advice from an expert, like Marilyn Hauptmann from Swaab Attorneys. I thank Marilyn for giving me the insights that inspired this column. It is intended to be of practical help. That's the key. I may be accused of being cynical - this is practical advice for the real world. My sincere good wishes to all. RendezView
14.01.2022 Honoured to be acknowledged in The Australian today, by SBS World News presenter Ricardo Goncalves - for the small part I played in the early days of his brilliant career. Courage and persistence pay off - good professionals help others to become good professionals. I'm now working at Ogilvy Public Relations Australia - working with our clients to ensure they get the best service in the business of communications.
14.01.2022 Honoured to be appointed as a BoardLinks Champion by the Minister for Women, Senator Michaelia Cash, and the Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull. A splendid opportunity to identify #enterprising and worthy women to join boards.
14.01.2022 Great news @studio10au - we've gone international - our recent discussion on the show has been published on the W20 website, for all the world to see! Thanks again for the opportunity!
13.01.2022 An absolute privilege to represent Australia at the W20 in Xi'an, China, this past week - I lean towards optimism in what I hope is a "New Normal" way of economic thinking. My article on Women's Agenda, below. We women of the G20 nations affirmed that we MUST take concrete action to ensure women's full participation in economic and social affairs. We want action to measure the target of reducing the female labour force participation gap by 25% by 2025. http://www.womensagenda.com.au//7069-anne-fulwood-s-w20-up
11.01.2022 Wonderful support from our Foreign Minister, The Hon Julie Bishop, for the first W20 Turkey Summit in Istanbul this week - her address on the opening day, very warmly received by all delegates from the W20. Great to have this support in Istanbul as I represent Australia with Dr Susan Harris-Rimmer. We are working hard to make a valuable contribution to the Women-20 (W20) to promote and further empower women in business and society.
10.01.2022 Pure, incomparable, brilliance. Thank you, and vale, Ronnie
07.01.2022 Be in no doubt that this is a time of global recalibration - look around you and consider the global shifts of 2016. I'm looking ahead to the Women20 (W20) 2017 Summit and argue that if we are to advance the agenda for the economic empowerment of women - we must include men. That means a diverse and relevant representation and we must do more than just talk. Goals are in place, and it's time to measure progress. We're all accountable for what happens next... men and women! See my article, with thanks to the OECD Observer
07.01.2022 A privilege to facilitate a panel at the annual OECD Forum recently - discussing "Closing the gender gap - 25% by 2025" with women from all over the world. My reflections in an article, with thanks to WomensAgenda - important that women know what we want, in regard to equality of opportunity, and important that we include the men who will support us to achieve that. http://www.womensagenda.com.au//7104-anne-fulwood-what-wom
05.01.2022 The headline says it all - conversation is the key to building confidence in communications, at any age. It may even be the difference between you getting a job, or not. David Deming of Harvard University argues that social skills have become more important for workers because they provide a crucial advantage over a frequent competitor: technology. Give the gift of conversation this Christmas. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au//story-fnpug1jf-122768548
02.01.2022 Let's get back in the groove for New Year and bring out the vinyl again! It's being called "The Resurgence" and people of all ages are rediscovering the pleasure of playing a record, on a turntable! Yes, the tactile, physical product you can take out of a cool cover, and keep on your shelf rather than in the cloud. Go on, "get yer Ya-Ya's out" and dance your way into 2016! My column today: http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au//story-fnpug1jf-122769183
01.01.2022 A little walk down my televisual memory lane on the Seven Network, The Daily Edition, this past week! Good opportunity to chat about my work as Media Director with Ogilvy Australia (Ogilvy Public Relations Aust), and about my role as Australia's representative to the Women20 (W20) Engagement group to the G20. Thanks to the team at Seven!
