23.01.2022 Congratulations to Vivian Messimeris for winning the Inaugural Werriwa Art Prize for her piece; ‘A Degree of Difference (Regent Honeyeater)'. Vivian used a silkscreen of cotton rag, depicting the Regent Honeyeater, a critically endangered bird that is native to the Badgerys Creek area. The artwork aims to raise awareness about the need to conserve our unique wildlife. Her work will grace the cover of my 2021 Christmas Card.
