23.01.2022 NDIS Issues - Have YOUR Voice Heard! The NDIS has done a spectacular job in giving Participants more power over how they want to be treated, by giving them more... control of their funds and choice of Providers. Despite their best efforts, there is still much complexity and confusion, not just for Participants, but for Providers working on compliance whilst running their businesses effectively. The National Disability Sector Professional Development and Practice Survey is your opportunity to have your say! It is open to participants, carers, guardians, providers, family members and professionals from within the sector. By completing the survey now, you’ll have the opportunity to: Tell us how you’ve been affected by COVID-19 What the NDIS is doing well, and what you feel could be improved How effective (or not) practical skills training is to deliver the highest levels of care and service Once completed, you’ll then receive updates as we’ll be compiling a report highlighting the key findings and it will then formulate recommendations. These recommendations will form the backbone of the National Disability Sector Professional Leadership Body, as a framework of areas to improve. Together with industry experts, we will work together to identify key projects to work on, to bring about much needed changes in the Sector together. Get involved, take the survey today, share this and spread the word with everyone you know in this Sector. Together, we can bring about the change that’s needed! Take the survey now: https://www.developingauscommunities.com.au/survey-form
