25.01.2022 Happy Wednesday everyone! These cute owl ceramic earrings, available in both dangles and studs, are made from clay, bisque fired, glazed and assembled in Toowoomba. If you live locally, each set is $30 as I can deliver them to you - or slightly more if postage is required. There are only a few sets available as these are prototypes. Please message me if interested!

24.01.2022 Happy Sunday everyone! Here are some colourful wooden pieces that will be assembled into earrings soon. These are bespoke wearable pieces of art.

21.01.2022 Recently, I was asked to paint a small memorial pendant as a special birthday gift. I was honoured to be asked to create this artwork. I really enjoy creating these miniature portraits. I use acrylic paint on wood which is sealed with varnish and I work from photographs of the person. These pendants can be worn around the neck, similar to historic cameo jewellery. Please message me if you would like me to create a similar piece of hand-painted jewellery for a loved one.

21.01.2022 I haven’t had a lot of time lately but this work in progress deliberately uses a lot of colour and is narrative.

20.01.2022 One thing I like about painting earrings is the fact that I can finish them quickly. They are like the small details of a painting that you can wear.

20.01.2022 I’ve been quiet lately as I have not been well; but I am in the process of recreating an old favourite. This is the underpainting stage. I am creating a narrative diptych for a regional gallery. Hope everyone is well.

18.01.2022 Sometimes I feel as if the demands of life are thrown at me from all directions. Painting is one way for me to manage this, also learning to say no and other strategies. When my son was small I used to read him a lot of story books and I think you can see the influence of storybook illustration here. Working mums might be able to relate to this one. The lass below may be a bit static but this one is also about the sheer joy of colour. Happy Sunday everyone! Do something relaxing.

18.01.2022 I plan to do the markets this Sunday morning. This is a great place to do Christmas shopping as you can buy locally made products that have been handmade with love, not mass produced under duress.

17.01.2022 This is a small pendant that I painted recently. The pencil is there to indicate size. It is an honour to make these sentimental pieces. Please message me if you would like me to paint something similar for you.

17.01.2022 From a while ago - cleaning the shower while in it. At the time, I was thinking about all of those ladies luxuriating in baths in paintings by Bonnard.

15.01.2022 Just in time for Spring! Some floral earrings and more monstera leaf earrings. Hand-painted, bespoke and unique wearable art. Happy Sunday!

15.01.2022 Here are a small selection of available earrings. These are handpainted, unique bespoke wearable miniature artworks. As a slowpoke, slow fashion suits my style. I deliberately steer clear of plastics, glitter and resin. The photo includes some floral designs available for Spring. Please message me if interested.

14.01.2022 SOLD through the Uralla Gallery. Thank you so much Harriet for believing in me and my story.

14.01.2022 This special set of earrings has been completed and delivered. I have tried my best to create 2 miniature paintings in the style of The Kiss by Gustav Klimt as requested. Please message me if you have any special requests for handpainted bespoke jewellery, especially as little momentos.

14.01.2022 I know that I have painted this little lady in the past, but I am happy that this one will be heading to Uralla Gallery in the next few days.

13.01.2022 A fairy for a Wednesday night!

12.01.2022 Here is my latest pair of Venus earrings. These are miniature paintings on wood finished with hypoallergenic French hooks. Bespoke and unique miniature pieces of wearable art. Please message me if interested.

11.01.2022 My first blog! Thank you to Steve Jaenke from Digimark for his help!

09.01.2022 Happy Sunday everyone. I also make little brooches. These Gouldian finch brooches are ceramic.

09.01.2022 I’ve been invited by a gallery to revisit some of my narrative paintings - addressing topics very close to my heart. Here is a sneak peak. I’ve been a bit quiet lately as I have not been well. Also, I have been working on some small very precious and personal commissions. I may post them after I have given them to the owners with their permission.

08.01.2022 I hope everyone is having a peaceful Tuesday evening. This is a more complete version of the painting posted last week. Little narrative paintings about women and work. This is only a small portion of the whole work.

08.01.2022 I am working on some very special commissions at the moment, but these sets of earrings are still available - bespoke handpainted wearable art. After that, I am going to be busy for the next month. Thank you to everyone reaching out.

07.01.2022 I know that I have painted this blonde lady before but this version is currently on its way to Uralla Gallery. She is telling a story which many working women seem to find relatable. It is called 'The Power Suit.'

05.01.2022 Hi there, this is a little piece put together by the lovely Kim from Toowoomba and Darling Downs. Her aim is to connect people and businesses in our community. Please read the short piece below to get to know me better and to learn about other great places and small businesses in Toowoomba.

04.01.2022 Little pieces in process. Happy Sunday everyone!

01.01.2022 I can’t show you what I am working on because it is a commissioned gift, but what is it about cats and paint water? There’s plenty of clean water around the house!
