Thats why we are supporting Kevin Rudd's petition for a Royal Commission to investigate threats to media diversity and recommend policies to ensure optimal diversity across all platforms to help guarantee our democratic future. 07.01.2022 Federal Labor is clear that it supports more transparency and accountability in government. A National Integrity Commission is therefore an important step in the right direction. It is a shame, however, that the Coalition Government is dragging its feet on this reform. However, given some of the decisions it has made recently, perhaps it isnt a surprise.
