I just HAD to do some quality control for you & sampled a piece tonight......and it's delicious! Hopefully there's some left for you at tomorrow's Torquay Farmers Market, better get in quick!
25.01.2022 It's that time again, time to try a new recipe - Apple & Custard cake - it looks delicious! Brave the predicted rain tomorrow, come to the Torquay Farmers Market for your slice - lovely for a morning or afternoon tea treat!

21.01.2022 I'm off on a holiday! Lucky for me, however unfortunate for my regular customers I'm missing Torquay Farmers Market for the next two weeks. See you back there again the first Saturday in August.
21.01.2022 The Cowrie market's getting busy already! Lots of choices for Christmas shopping & of course my yummy cakes & biscuits, come on down!
20.01.2022 Apologies to all my customers but once again I am having to take time off from my market stall at Torquay Farmers market - a 'forced' medical break unfortunately. (And not Corona virus, so you are all safe!) See as soon as possible & take care
19.01.2022 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! And what's Christmas without fruit mince pies? I heard someone say recently that no-one under 70yrs of age should eat mince pies, hahaha.... you either love them or dislike them & I love them (& I'm under 70)! If you like them too, I have a limited amount at Torquay Farmers market tomorrow, get in quick
18.01.2022 We have a special visitor at the Torquay Farmers Market today! He arrived while I was unloading & must be enjoying the market as he's still here. His lovely carrot nose is courtesy of Organic Mojo, & his soft large dark eyes are courtesy of Seeds of Time. And I have my old farm gumboots on, so I'm feeling like a farmer at the Farmers market! David advertises that we are open rain, hail & shine & it's true! We've copped 2 out of 3 this morning although I'm not sure that we'll get the shine. Come & visit us, be brave!
16.01.2022 I'll be back at the Torquay Farmers Market tomorrow! I'm busy baking now to bring all your favourite treats, especially for those that have had withdrawals over the past weeks (and there's been a few!). Besides the usual biscuits, there will be Chocolate Hazelnut flourless cake (GF), Carrot cake & Lumberjack cake, Cupcakes, Brownies & Rocky Road. Please observe the Covid regulations - wear masks (no mask no entry), hand sanitise & keep 1.5m physical distancing, enter & exit through the main gateway. Looking forward to catching up with everyone!
15.01.2022 Don't you just love summer berries & fruit? I do! Here's two cakes made with some of my favourites - Peach & Blackberry Yoghurt cake, & Raspberry Coconut Teacake. Both are really, really delicious & ready for you to taste at Torquay Farmers Market tomorrow 8.30am - 1.00pm.........that's if I can resist eating them first! And just because, I made an old family favourite slice - Hedgehog, yum!
14.01.2022 Tomorrow's Cowrie market has been cancelled due to the predicted 45kmh winds. If any of my customers would still like some yummy treats, please pm me, otherwise you'll see me at next month's Cowrie market or every Saturday at the Torquay Farmers market.
13.01.2022 To all my loyal customers & friends, I have decided to have a 'holiday' during this Corona virus pandemic & will not be at Torquay Farmers market for a little while, but rest assured I will be back! Please take care, look after yourselves & loved ones, & see you soon with your favourite yummy treats (that's as long as you haven't all learnt to bake whilst at home!). If you need a whole cake or batch of biscuits/slice , please contact me
11.01.2022 This week sees a return of a couple of oldies but goodies - Persian Love cake, Fudgy Wudgy biscuits & Florentine slice. And who doesn't love a fudgy Brownie on a cold day? I'm at Torquay Farmers market till 1.00pm today, come over for a treat.
08.01.2022 Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas with family, lots of delicious food, presents & the odd beverage or two. And because you've all eaten too much over the festive season, I'm giving you a break......(and me)......and will be absent from Torquay Farmers Market this Saturday, December 28th. See you in 2020!
07.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who came to the Torquay Farmers market today, it was lovely to see my regular customers & the other stallholders again! What a fantastic day to be out (now that we are allowed a bit more freedom), the sun is shining, people are smiling & I almost completely sold out . Only 6 biscuits left - I think that's a record! See you all next week.
05.01.2022 And we have the trifecta! The sun has shown it's face albeit briefly
04.01.2022 This week I made Raspberry Coconut teacake, just for a change. It's such a delicious cake, it's hard to resist 'eating the profits' whilst standing at my market stall - come to Torquay Farmers market & help me!
04.01.2022 Do you like banana's? I've made some gluten free banana & passionfruit cupcakes & also some banana & walnut muffins for tomorrow's (today's?) Torquay Farmers market (guess who had a few over ripe banana's?). They look delicious! Come & try them, we're open 8.30am-1.00pm.
03.01.2022 These Banana & Date gluten free muffins look delicious! Eat them as is or warm them up & add butter, they'll be a perfect treat for a cold & wet weekend. That is, unless you're a chocolate fan, then there's Rocky Road & Mars bar slice, Choc Mint Yoyo's & Afghan biscuits. All these are freshly homemade & available tomorrow at my stall at the Torquay Farmers market, 8.30am-1.00pm.
01.01.2022 What better way to take your mind off the Corona virus than a little chocolate treat of either Rocky Road or decadent Brownies? They are available tomorrow at the Torquay Farmers Market, along with Chocolate Hazelnut flourless cake (do you see a theme here?), and all your other favourite homemade treats. Be sensible & no panic buying, there's plenty for all and as long as I can still buy flour & butter, there will be more in the coming weeks, so please leave some flour on the supermarket shelves for me . See you tomorrow!
