08.01.2022 Next time you reach for a snack, think of this comparison. A humble banana - weighing 170g with skin - supplies 395 kJ (91 Cals) In contrast, a slice of ban...ana bread comes in four times greater. Why? Once you combine the flour, sugar, eggs, milk, butter, cinnamon and bananas, bake it and then divide it into 10 slices - you end up with a 1980 kJ (or 473 Calorie) cake-like snack that contains 4 teaspoons of sugar but only one-fifth of a banana So it should really be called banana cake, not banana bread! #Banana #Bananas #BananaBread #nutrition #eatright #healthyeating #healthySnack #wellness #eatrealfood #justeatrealfood #JERF #healthyisthenewhappy #wholefoods #yummyfoods #weightloss
