25.01.2022 Ever focused on a passage for a whole year? A family from our church does this each year. What a lovely way to model a Jesus-centred life to your children.

25.01.2022 We all need to invest in our relationship. Whether you are getting married, remarried or you have been married for a short or a long time, Focus on the Family would love to invite you to join them for their Real Life Real Love Online Marriage Conference. 24.01.2022 There is so much nasty stuff out there- so glad there is some excellent stuff as well!

24.01.2022 There are few things that have brought me more joy in life- to have my children find godly life partners, and to watch them become parents themselves. Today we celebrate our sons (and SIL!) and the great job they are doing as fathers. I’m so grateful for the example they had in their own Dad.

22.01.2022 If you have little ones, these are some lovely videos by the legendary Colin Buchanan to help them lean into their heavenly Father when life is scary. https://www.compassion.com.au/colin-buchanan

22.01.2022 Happy Mother’s Day! Come to church with me at 10am this morning!

20.01.2022 This talented young woman has an incredible gift of shaping words like most of us can't. A beautiful letter to mothers.

20.01.2022 Join me at church at 10am, and Hope Discovery Kids at 11.30am!

20.01.2022 Join us as we celebrate the resurrection of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, this Easter Sunday - 10am - online. HE IS RISEN. While we may be physically distanced, we... invite you to join us, engage with us and connect with us socially and spiritually, from the comfort of your own home. We are looking forward to knowing you are with us this Sunday. See more

19.01.2022 Excellent piece by Scot McKnight.

18.01.2022 With three days notice, our team switched from live kids ministry to online delivery. We 'reached' three times the number of families who would normally attend. God is good!

18.01.2022 Praying for our health professionals daily...

17.01.2022 Our phones- can't live with them, can't live without them. We just need to ask ourselves- what is the message am sending to those around me right now? How can I be PRESENT with them, not on hold until something/someone more important comes up?

17.01.2022 Looking forward to our service starting in 5 minutes! Why don't you join me at https://www.door-of-hope.org/

16.01.2022 Please be aware.

15.01.2022 I have a very small list of favourite singer/songwriters. Once again, Christine has moved my heart with this beautiful song of worship and surrender. So thankful for her awesome talent and tender heart.

15.01.2022 So beautifully captured in words...

13.01.2022 It’s time to celebrate!

13.01.2022 So excited for this!

11.01.2022 Times like this it is hard to put into words what we are really thinking and feeling. Check out Samantha’s new perspective on an old psalm.

10.01.2022 I’ve done a few more puzzles in the last few months, and reflected on the life lessons that they can demonstrate. Like, living with boundaries gives you the scaffolding for a rewarding life; sometimes you keep coming across a piece that just doesn’t seem to belong, but all of a sudden it will just drop into place; when you just can’t find a solution, sometimes it’s best to change direction and try a different strategy; and if you get to the end and there is a piece missing, just celebrate the satisfaction of the 999 that fitted perfectly! Any others?...

09.01.2022 Join me for church!

09.01.2022 My nephew wrote this song before the virus season. How fitting for right now.

08.01.2022 As our Premier Peter Gutwein calls us to prayer. How can we as a Church #Take10 minutes every day to pray for our community during this season?

07.01.2022 Looking forward to Hope Camp in just over 2 weeks! This annual event has been going since 2012- this is our TENTH CAMP! We love how the relaxed timetable gives us plenty of time to hang out with old friends AND make new ones! Whether you come as an overnight camper, or just visit for a day, you are asked to register for contact tracing etc. See details in the event below...

07.01.2022 Seeing our church and children's church both online this morning was an emotional time for me. God has prepared us for a time such as this, with the skills and the heart to respond quickly to the unprecedented circumstances we find ourselves in. This afternoon our 'undone' service goes online for the first time. (My daughter Emma is leading worship.) The topic is Anxiety and includes a panel. Why don't you join us? https://doorofhope.churchonline.org/

07.01.2022 Communicating to our children truthfully but without raising anxiety is really important. Here's a good tool to help us.

06.01.2022 Ever wonder why some families just seem to struggle with one challenge after another? I must admit there are times when I wonder, 'Why am I so blessed? When are these disasters going to come my way?' And then I breathe a grateful prayer. Every one of us will face tough times of different sorts along our life's pathway- some it seems more than others. I only hope that if and when my turn comes, I will face these hard times with the patience and grace that I see in the lives of others who've been there before me.

06.01.2022 And we join the circle of online churches across the globe...

06.01.2022 Good Friday service in 5m. Why don't you join us? https://doorofhope.churchonline.org/

05.01.2022 Love how our MADwheels program has expanded over the years to serve the Launceston high schools!

05.01.2022 What can I say? These dear friends create word pictures that soothe my soul.

04.01.2022 The words of this song by my friend Greg have been keeping me company at this time. I will try to find a recording I can share.

04.01.2022 I love the sound and smell of the rain! Thankyou, Father!

03.01.2022 In my devotions this morning, these verses sprang out at me. Romans 15:5-6. "Now may the God of endurance and comfort give you unity with one another in accordance with Christ Jesus, so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." It interested me that of all the attributes of God, Paul chooses endurance and comfort. Don’t we need His endurance and comfort at this time! Then the purpose of the endurance and comfort was not for our own benefit, but to unify us in giving glory to God. Then I found this posted by a friend... May it be well with your soul today.

02.01.2022 We missed having the opportunity to host this in person last weekend. This is the next best thing! Register now!

02.01.2022 Thanks, Willow Creative. So profound.

02.01.2022 Thinking of giving your tween or teen a phone for Christmas? Some factors to consider...

02.01.2022 Link to this morning’s family Mother’s Day service.

02.01.2022 Thanks, Willow creatives!

01.01.2022 Don’t you love the versions of this spreading from all over the world??

01.01.2022 This is SO me.. I know in my heart that a phonecall is so much more personal- you can hear the nuance of tone and emotion in a phonecall that is impossible with typed words and even emojis . And yet my default is always to write messages in some form or other. The introvert in me emerges! My husband on the other hand... (he's in the yellow!)

01.01.2022 Such an important message.
