When ABI was invited to collaborate with Peter Bodeker Construction and Architect Maria Gillman the brief provided was an Industrial theme that would provide a calm and tranquil space for visiting patients. The owners of this building have a significant collection of art which became the focus of the furnishings. We drew on a monochromatic palette of black stained plywood cladding fused with stark white painted brick walls, juxtaposed with the art pieces, brightly coloured bespoke furniture and feature pendant lighting . The outcome is unique and impressive and has created much attention.
