08.01.2022 Just like most mums I have 1000s of photos of my kids but hardly any of me with them. It's pretty safe to say we can put this down to two main reasons - 1. You are the one taking the photo, or 2. You just don't feel very photogenic (for any number of reasons - you haven't washed your hair in days, you are covered in mashed banana from breakfast, you feel generally gross etc)... I can fully relate to reason number 2, but can also recognise that having pictures with your children is something that you will never regret. One day you will see past those little insecurities you had at the time and relish in the beauty of that crazy/messy/tiring/happy time in your life and be thankful for those imperfectly perfect memories!
