25.01.2022 At Al Ru Farm today for a wedding rehearsal, and met this gorgeous lady, Lily. She’s a huge English Mastiff, so, so gentle and sweet. I love her. My dogs will be unimpressed when I get home covered in her smell.

17.01.2022 If a life in amateur theatre has taught me anything, it’s how to improvise. I had a lapel mic, but with a head band, a wire coat hanger, some wire snips and a cable tie (which I will replace with a not green one) I now have a headset mic, ready for this weekend’s wedding! Just gotta tidy it up a bit, and I’m good to go!!

While minimal people could be physically present, we live streamed the occasion to their friends and family both here and abroad. It was so nice to be part of this happy day amid all the isolation of the world right now. Maybe we can’t all physically be close, but today confirmed that we can still all be near to those we love.

05.01.2022 A friend of mine got me a cardigan for my birthday a few weeks ago. She hand stitched this little guy onto it. I couldn’t love it more. I love the idea of ‘bespoke’ things - something that is truly reflective of who you are. It doesn’t need to be over the top. It just needs to be ‘you’. ... That’s something I try to reflect in the work I do with the couples I marry.
