It was originally white but someone put it through with a yellow fabric a quick wash with a color catcher and we got it back to an off white. It’s the perfect match for our budding textile designer and she’s happy..

10.01.2022 What’s Mum to say when number 6 child asks for leopard print masks Beautiful quality Michael Miller fabric teemed up with some latex free elastic should do the trick. Aren’t these little boys masks just so cute and perfect. I usually forget to take a photo so I snapped these before they get delivered.

09.01.2022 This is much more fun sewing than the boring plain darks all the males request. Those that have said anything to suit will have noted I like to add in a bit of texture and interest in their male masks. With masks being mandatory for who knows how long let’s add some life to our masks and use them to interpret our personalities.

09.01.2022 Edited 15/8:2020 Sadly after some totally unnecessary messages I’ve withdrawn all posts in regard to these masks and have also cancelled a couple of people’s orders. I will no longer tolerate selfishness, rudeness nor demands. I am not making a profit from the sale of any ordered masks as wrongly accused. The cost to restock my supplies well and truly exceeds my sales, especially as some supplies are in high demand and have doubled in price and some of my treasured fabric...s being used are discontinued and highly sort after in the quilting world. I do not have to justify any prices I put on my items but will use my discretion to choose who I gift items to. 6 masks from me cost $30 compared to elsewhere at approximately $60 and yet some people are upset at the price of one mask of which the fabric you can’t get anymore, I know I’ve been trying for 2 weeks. Total cost is still less than elsewhere... At the start of this I naively thought I’d get orders for approximately 200-300.. not nearly 1000 and up until now I’ve not refused anyone any orders. I was hoping by being generous with my time and willingness it would help keep costs down for families and everyone would work together and be kind to get through these crazy times. Regardless of the comments today I’ll still continue to be me and do what I feel is necessary for me to help others. I have so far freely given out almost 150 masks at no cost to some people who I felt deserved them, especially the COVID nurses in Melbourne and have approximately 30 more waiting on elastics to go out free of charge. I have tolerated a lot of rudeness and demands which have been disheartening. I have not stepped away from my machines in over 2 weeks since mandatory masks came in apart from deliveries and sleeping. Todays comments achieved their aim and hurt but I will be back tomorrow at my machine helping those who deserve it. I’ve had a lot of requests for these masks as people are seeing them being worn by family members and some close friends These are not available for pre order nor am I offering these now for sale. Please do not message me requests for these as I don’t wish to offend anyone with my refusal. In time I may change my stance in regards to these masks but for now I am not willing to deal with the negativity of them. My apologies to those who were interested but I just don’t have the stamina at present to deal with some people. Over 100 masks have gone out in the last few days and I’ll be reallocating finished masks from the cancelled orders to other orders and will pop up excess ones as ready to purchase later on. I immensely appreciate the kindness and patience of the majority so thank you everyone. With kindness and compassion together we will get through these crazy testing times

08.01.2022 I am so lucky to live where we do and have absolutely the best angels as my friends. After some negativity at the weekend I’m still speechless at the beautiful generosity of some gorgeous friends. Friday also saw my elastic supply depleted as I am still waiting on my delivery. This angel came to my rescue Sunday and found not just a little bit but 100 metres so I can finish off these masks. I am still blown away by this. This mask below may have been slipped in a ‘p...ost box’ today as a huge thank you. So when you see her wearing it thank her for being such a wonderful, kind and generous person and going out of her way to help get masks out to everyone as well as making a monetary donation so more free masks can be gifted to others. The Mitchell family of Warrnambool have also gifted forward some masks for others in need. How beautiful are these people and the kindness they have shown for others is just the best. Our world can do with more of these angels. Thank you doesn’t seem enough to say for your generosity and kindness for others. I know one young family was blown away to know someone they didn’t know cared so much xx You are both amazing people and amazing and beautiful friends. Thank you Kindness always and we will get through these times together
