22.01.2022 After a couple of hectic years offering training workshops and focus on developing my practice i am slowing things down a little. Last year i undertook a lot of training in trauma and naturally my client base is now predominantly people who have experienced complex trauma. My goal for 2018 is to stay in my comfort zone and develop my personal creative practice but oh there are so many new ways to improve and extend what i offer my clients emerging from my art making. I am still available for supervision and consultation and taking new clients for therapy so please don't hesitate to refer or contact me. Annie

21.01.2022 This is the last of the series of very reasonably priced training workshops I'm offering this year. Narrative Therapy is the foundation of my therapeutic practice and I love its capacity to deeply connect people with aspects of themselves which are aligned with their values and the aspirations they have for their lives. When I combine Narrative techniques with arts based therapy it brings a level of safety to the work which increases my courage and capacity to use art therapy with vulnerable people.

13.01.2022 For those of you interested in a mid winter therapeutic learning extravaganza I will be offering Learn to Teach Mindfulness on June 10th followed by An Arts Based Approach to ACT on the 24th and 25th of June. For those unfamiliar with teaching mindfulness the mindfulness training can be attended as the foundation training for this fun and action packed weekend workshop introducing skills in integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with Arts Based methods on June 24th and 25th. The daily rate for the workshops is $200 fully waged, $140 partially waged, $120 student.

09.01.2022 Hi Rachel, This workshop will of be containing the same wonderful workable ACT principals your learned from Russ but it will be radically different from the workshops you have done. There will be some interactive didactic presentation, but participants in this workshop will be engaged in art making and other playful experiential methods to learn the ACT model. These creative ways of working can be incorporated into what you have all ready learned in Russ's ACT one and two training's and are designed to inspire and increase your confidence in incorporating your own creative ideas into your ACT practice.

It was an epic day yesterday as people experienced what it means to view problems as external to themselves and how art making and skilful questioning can facilitate this understanding for their clients.
