24.01.2022 Sorry for the radio silence my dears. What a crazy few weeks and months it’s been for all of us. And now, after the arrival of my baby girl 10 weeks ago, my family is moving 100km+ away from the place we’ve called home for as long as we’ve been a family. The place all our adventures started, where we brought home or welcomed into the world our 3 gorgeous kids. The only house and home they’ve thus far ever known. The experience is a bittersweet one as we take on new and exci...ting endeavours and make this decision for the benefit of each of us. . So while I’m not back on the air yet with all the boxes to be packed, furniture to disassemble and children to occupy or stick in a carrier - I will be back properly soon. . And my mission for once we are settled here is to create. A re-establishment and extension of my blog, more podcast episodes and interviews with magnificent women, getting back to painting and drawing. And later - when the time is right - kicking off birth work, women’s work and parenting support in our new hometown of Ballarat and the surrounding areas. And I’m incredibly excited for that too. . So watch this space. I’ll be back very soon.

20.01.2022 FINALLY! . On the 2nd of June, James and I welcomed our newest little person into the world in a speedy, calm planned home birth. Born into the water and her daddy’s arms at 10.24am with paramedics and midwives dashing in the door a few minutes later. I’m so proud of all of us! . After almost 3 weeks of maddening prelabour and longer again spent in isolation- we are so ecstatic and relieved to finally meet our little perfect darling. .... Thank you to many of you for all the well wishes and love! 15.01.2022 This is not new. It’s so insidious and ingrained in our culture- on a global scale- that we’re barely even surprised. As horrifying as it all is, there’s also a revolting normality to the occurrence of racism. It features as a narrative in everyday life and in popular culture. A fact that I have always found deeply upsetting and just disgusting really. There’s not really much I feel I can add to the conversation other than my voice and my willingness to educate myself for the... sake of our black and indigenous sisters and brothers. We all need to commit to that, and not just for the short term.
