14.01.2022 The amount of time between breastfeeds is counted from the start of the feed, so yes, breastfed babies feed more frequently than alot of people realise!!! Breastmilk is easily digested so this is one factor. Remember, this is an average. Sometimes Annika will feed more often than this, especially during growth spurts or will seek extra breastfeeds for comfort and reassurance (especially if she's teething or has a mild illness her big brother passed onto her!). Some babies ma...y feed less often than this, however still have good wet nappies (5-6 in 24hrs), appropriate weight gain and meeting developmental milestones. If you ever have concerns regarding frequency of your baby's breastfeeds please reach out for support. 10.01.2022 Dinner time watching the sunset at Saunders Beach. We were invited down to the beach for dinner by some friends, it's not something we regularly do but it was SO beautiful and relaxing. The kid's made a beeline straight to the beach to play, frollick and laugh all between each other and all of the parent's! It was absolutely wonderful.
