21.01.2022 A great local initiative - the ANNANDALE FEATIVAL OF LIGHTS - starts this coming Friday night (12 June). Celebrate what’s great about our neighbourhood and project hope for a better second-half of 2020 by lighting up your home or business. Getting involved is simple, repurpose some Christmas lights, or get creative and make some lanterns or an original light sculpture. Take some time out to wander the neighbourhood to check out the lights and remember to take some photos of you favourite displays and share them on the ‘Annandale 2038’ Facebook Group.

16.01.2022 Over the last 12 months the ANPS P&C, with the support of our parents and community, has been fundraising to improve the school grounds for our children. The last 2 weekends has seen this hard work and generosity come to life through the Urban Forest Renewal. Designed and planted by Mandy Campbell, with clear out, soils, planting and mulch done by Nathan Brewer from Garden Envy the new space features hardy native plants, suited to our climate and the rough and tumble of prima...ry school children. We have added new durable outdoor tables from Felton Industries (an Australian family owned company who manufacture in country NSW) with enough tables for a whole class to use. We will keep a close eye on the plants as they settle over the next few weeks and hope to have a well established space for when the children return. Thank you to Mandy and Nathan for your support, and to everyone who contributed to bringing our Urban Forest Renewal to life! See more

02.01.2022 P&C would like to invite all of Annandale to join in our Mother's Day Flower Wall at Annandale North Public School. We want to show our Mums, Step Mums, Grandmothers, Nanas and all the wonderful women in our lives how much we love them and thank them for all they do for us! With the help of the student leadership group, we are trying to create the #ANPSFlowerWall by covering the front fence with paper flowers, made by the children and the community. You can use any paper y...ou have, to make, recycle, draw, paint, fold, create or mâché, paper flowers, and attach them to the gate. Fresh flowers from your garden are also welcome! We encourage everyone to squeeze in some socially distanced exercise and add your flowers today, Saturday and Sunday in the lead up to Mother’s Day. On Mother’s Day (Sunday 10th May) take your Mums up to the school to show them our flower wall. Take a picture and post it here with the tag #ANPSFlowerWall. See more
