22.01.2022 Enjoyed reading this new book about Lincoln Ellsworth, who led private air expeditions over Antarctica in the 30's. You've read all of the Scott and Shackleton... books, now learn about this lesser known explorer. He's definitely an interesting chap. And perhaps the most hapless navigator to ever grace our favorite continent. See more

14.01.2022 No man has done more for me than Wyatt Earp, wrote Lincoln Ellsworth. After the death of the legendary frontier marshal in 1929, Ellsworth hoped to disguise his homosexuality by emulating Earp. He purchased Earp’s possessions and set out to carry them across the last frontier Antarctica. The true story of how the legendary lawman’s gun belt was carried across the frozen continent is revealed in Antarctica’s Lost Aviator.
