It was an intimate affair with shared with friends and family and some of those family watched via an online link due to travel restrictions. 22.01.2022 Sunday marked the first ever Perth City Wedding Open Day. We spent the day at Lamont's Bishops House, being visited throughout the day by Perth's engaged couples. Lovely conversations were had and we found out a little about the couples plans and hopes for their wedding day. 14.01.2022 I've been quiet on here since the end of March, when wedding and events all came to a sudden halt. It's been a tremendously difficult time as a small business whose life revolves around capturing love stories and big gatherings of people. I was homeschooling my children for an extended period, editing weddings and having to move every single wedding from a very busy schedule to new date, sometimes new venues, helping my couples find new suppliers. I felt for every one of my c...ouples whose wedding days and dreams were affected... It seems we're are on the back to normality after a surge in wedding enquiries and couples finally feel confident in making plans again. Hallelujah !!! 07.01.2022 Tegan and Jonathon have found their person in each other. They are both community minded, glass half full, friends of the earth. They share a deep love for Chester their dog, their home and for one another. It was for these reasons and because none of us really know how things will look in the next couple of years. 04.01.2022 What a decade this year has been so far ! I've spent weeks which have rolled into months rescheduling, offering advice, helping find new venues etc. For my couples whose weddings couldn't go ahead due to Covid. I went to post so many times and so often it would have been someones wedding date that day/weekend and it just didn't feel right to be posting happy wedding photos, when I knew my couples plans had come to a crashing halt. But finally, here in Perth at least, it feel...s like love is in the air again. My inbox is full and there have been no more weddings postponed. I just wanted to say thank you to all of my clients who didn't cancel but instead chose new dates and have trusted me to look after them. I have been thinking of you all and I know, when your wedding days roll around, they will be better than you thought they could be. 04.01.2022 Renae and Jimmy met years ago when they were out on the town. Jimmy was the D.J. and Renae was out with her girlfriends. Last weekend these two had the most incredible wedding day at Core Cider House.
