22.01.2022 Happy Friday - it's the last day of the month. Where did January go? Actually where have the last 1.5 years gone? I joined this business in June of 2018 ...and what a ride it has been. I wasn't sure it was what I wanted to do, but I knew I had the answer to a problem that I had been trying to solve my whole life. How could I keep this information to myself I have now helped over a hundred people lose hundreds of kilos combined. If someone tells you that you can't do something, it's actually them telling you what they can't do. It is not a reflection on you, but of them. Every hurdle you leap over, every stop sign you pass through will get you closer to your dream. If it doesn't shake you and scare you, you aren't growing as a person. 22.01.2022 Oh what a day today was! We were all up at 5.30am and after a few delays, we have spent the afternoon in Radelaide! I'm here for Modere's Annual Social Reta...il Conference. This is the 2nd one that I will be attending, but what a difference 12 months makes. This time around I was able to fly my family in as well, for a mini holiday. Last year I came with just 2 of my team and this year we are 15. Many of my team will be gracing the stage to collect various accolades, and I will even be speaking in a panel. 21.01.2022 Everyone has their own struggles. It is important to remember this. You cannot be everything to everyone.... It is OK to say that you are battling, or that you don't have all the answers. You can however do your very best and be the best version of you. That is not to say that you are limited by who you currently are. Seek inspiration and motivation from others - influencers, people you admire, colleagues, family, friends. 18.01.2022 While mummy is out getting her nails done in preparation for the event of the year - SRC, daddy and daughter are in the kitchen feeding the customers. You see ...daddy sells sauce for a living. So miss 3 takes calls from her perspective customers where she proceeds to convince the caller to buy her sauce. "Pesto would be good on a kids pasta or top of pizza" was tonight's classic line! Isn't it amazing how the little ones are always listening, always absorbing? Miss G also takes calls as "Georgie from Goop Gang"! It reminds me why I made the decision to change my life. I didn't want her to endure the 25 year foodcoaster that I had been on. I knew hiding in the pantry to eat my chocolate wasn't going to save her from that - I needed to make a real change. So I did... And it has... We work on the difference between a sometimes food and healthy food, everyday. Here current favourite meal is Chicken Salad. 13.01.2022 Hey hey, it’s Tuesday For me that means I’m back at my 9 to 5. That’s right, I work as well as trying to build my side hustle.... I loveeeeee what I do. I love waking up to messages from my mentees, with weigh-ins and photos of their progress and success. I love knowing that I am just one cog in these life changing journeys, and I feel privileged that I can go along for the ride. My mentees and I become faat friends, as I share their highs and lows, and together we push through the struggles to achieve ultimate success. I’m so passionate about this, that I arrive at work an hour early and sit in the carpark with my notepad and my to do list. I make sure I tick all the things off my list, so that my mentees and my business partners get the best out of me before I start my work day. Some people get up early and go for a run, a swim or head to the gym. For me it’s: GOOP, Breakfast, Coffee (to go) Shower Get my girl ready School drop off Head to work carpark WORK, WORK, WORK for 1 hour from the car, whilst sipping the coffee I made earlier When you love what you do, it’s not work! 10.01.2022 Are you struggling today? I know that coming back from Adelaide and being hit with the flu has me still trying to catch up. We GO GO GO until we are smacked r...ight back down. It's tough, yet I have this overwhelming sense of knowing that it will all be OK. This community I have found, these life changes that I have made, it is truly enlightening. Sometimes we need to know that it is OK to hit pause. We aren't quitting, we are just taking a breather. We are human and we need selfcare. 09.01.2022 Today we were up early, after our 1 night stay in the Hunter Valley... A little road trip :) But there are no excuses... We spent Australia Day away with our fa...mily. As we have a 3 year old, she was up and asking for breakfast long before anyone else! Off we went to the breakfast buffet, after drinking our GOOP in our room of course. I don't go anywhere without it. Here's my ice long black and a couple of green apples for the road home. I'm a proud independant social marketer.
06.01.2022 This photo was taken a week ago, today. SRC - Day 2 When I attended my first SRC in 2019, I sat in the audience just behind the Elite tables. I saw my Elite...s being served cheese and I swore that I would do everything in my power to earn a seat at that table the following year. Fast forward 12 months and we've done it. I say "WE" because it truly is a team effort. Without my team, this dream doesn't exist. The cheese was the pinnacle Along the way I also collected a trip to the Maldives for hubby and I, a car, various hand written letters from Modere Australasia's Managing Director Andy Kirss-Modere, a congratulatory email from Modere's Global CEO Asma Ishqa, Tiffany and Co gift vouchers and a keyring for my new car key to sit on. Not to mention the trip for 2 to Japan that is coming up in June this year. This business is truly a game changer. Bring rewarded for living out my passion of simply helping others change their lives. All the "stuff" is simply a bonus. But I'm not going to lie... I really wanted that damn cheese! I even managed to slip some cheese to some of my Directors. What do you want to have achieved 12 months from now? Last year, I attended my f...irst Social Retail Conference. I had heard his name mentioned many times, but up until this event that's all he was.... a name. Andy Kirss is the managing director at Modere Australasia. Since this first meeting, he has sent me hand written letters of congratulations everytime I unranked within the company. I have a folder of them, and have even framed the last one I received when our team achieved Elite 2. I'm so very excited to be able to share this experience this time around with so many more of my team. I can't wait to see the penny drop for them, and the doors open. Opportunity awaits within this business and everyone has an equal chance at grabbing it. Degrees and education are irrelevant.
