International Coffee Day (October 1) is an occasion that is used to promote and celebrate coffee as a beverage, it was launched in Milan as part of Expo 2015. This day is also used to promote fair trade coffee and to raise awareness for the plight of the coffee growers. With many people working from home or even locked down at home because of the current Covid Virus regulations, making a good brew at home has become critical. Our online sales have increased dramatically throughout this time. Many of our coffee outlets are stocking take home packs of coffee beans for the home barista. 05.01.2022 What a positive day. Calling on a number of our coffee customers, it is excellent and uplifting to see how they are dealing with these tough times. Most of them are much quieter than normal, but they are open and ready to serve their loyal customers, all be it with a modified business. Better times are around the corner and they are looking forward to it. Also delivering coffee to Gunnedah outlets this morning, they were all dealing with what is happening now and are trading, Being there for their customers and dealing with social distancing. All of the Gunnedah outlets are seeing a gradual increase in the number of customers. With all the doom and gloom we are hearing it is inspirational to see a bit of positivity about.
