23.01.2022 Geranium macrorrhizum is one of my favourite Cranesbills. Evergreen carpets of felty foliage smothered in rich pink flowers for months on end. 20.01.2022 Major Announcement!! Our new Retail Nursery and Display garden will be open from this Sunday 13th September. 10am till 3.30pm Sundays through to Thursday s. This next few weeks is for Rural visitors only to maintain safe numbers in the nursery. If the carpark is full then perhaps a quick coffee in Kinglake to wait till there is space in the carpark. Melbournians will get their chance soon and do not worry about missing out, we have been propagating madly all winter. 20.01.2022 Ever thought of doing a grass hedge? Personally I don't like clipped Hedges, too much discipline and torture on the poor shrubs so we planted Calamagrostis 'Karl Foerster' as an informal grass 'hedge' to give the display garden a backdrop. These were planted in late autumn and have already done the trick. The flowers will complement the autumn tones of the National Park in the background and the movement of the grasses in the wind is quite hipnotic.
